"This is a 1898 hotel in the San Juan mountains old mining country. Most unique hotel we have ever stayed in the US, England, Canada, the Caribbean and Mexico. All the bedrooms represent the turn of the century with meticulous care by the owners Matt and his wife. Expect a hearty and warm welcome by Matt when you arrive. This is an excellent choice for your lodging in a wonderful hotel and town."

"Our stay at Inn at Lost Creek was truly exceptional from beginning to end. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. The valet team was incredibly helpful, attentive, and friendly, making the arrival process effortless. At the front desk, we were greeted with genuine smiles and outstanding hospitality that immediately made us feel at home. One of the highlights of our stay was receiving a complimentary room upgrade. We were pleasantly surprised with a beautiful room featuring two balconies overlooking Mountain Village. As an added bonus, there was a concert taking place when we arrived, making the atmosphere even more special. The room was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly maintained throughout our stay. Everything worked flawlessly, and we never had to call maintenance for anything. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is its people. Every staff member went above and beyond to help us, even with the smallest details. Their kindness, professionalism, and willingness to assist made a lasting impression on us. The rooftop hot tub was another unforgettable feature. After a day of exploring Telluride, being able to relax in the hot tub while enjoying the incredible mountain views was simply perfect. We were also traveling with our dog, Luna, and the way the staff welcomed and accommodated her made our stay even more enjoyable. "This was a last-minute booking, but our favorite of a 2-week trip. The hot tub and fireplace were relaxing. The in-room microwave and fridge were a bonus. The beds were better than mine at home. The toiletries were so nice that I ordered them for my home. It was also within walking distance to town so we walked to dinner and then to grab coffee this morning."

"Silverton is a quirky little town - The Dent Elbow fits right in and is well placed for everything the town has to offer. There is no management on site and as luck would have it we had a problem with our door handle but owner Nick responded very quickly to our message and took care of the problem. Room was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. There is a bar below the rooms but there was no problem with noise at any time. Would stay again."
