Convenient location center of town

Staff was horrible. If the check in clerk had smiled it would have broken her face! Never showed me a map or layout of property so I could easily find my room. Never mentioned breakfast for the morning. Never offered to print me a receipt (I came back in the morning and got a receipt from someone else more willing to help me).

Inexpensive but still disappointing

Seemed to us like a 3-star that's on its way to 2-star status. Uncomfortable bed, old furnishings. There are several hotels in the area. We would probably choose a different one next time.

Do not book if you want a hot tub experience!

Nice property in a desolate area. Glad to be here after a long driving day. HOT TUB WAS COLD!!! Do not post if it isn't part of the package. This was one of my key decision criterias. Hate to drive so far looking for a relaxing soak to find it isn't even on! I stay in Clarion hotels all the time because they are consistently nice no matter where you travel. Big disappointment!

Probably one of the best in Ridgecrest

Pros: On site restaurant and bar
Cons: Working Jacuzzi
The staff is excellent. The room was nice also. The jacuzzi was broken and they said they were waiting for a part, but my guess is they don't want to spend the money to heat it in the winter.

Very good value

Rooms are very good - updated since our last stay some years ago. Sit down free breakfast is small but a good value. Exterior of motel and interior of cafe need work. We would recommend this motel.

Pros: Staff was friendly, breakfast was wonderful, location was good.
Cons: Hot tub was not working, sound traveled between rooms, average furnishings.

NOT GOOD!!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!

Booked 2 night stay WAY in advance. First night was gonna arrive late so I called them late evening/early am hours - NO ONE ANSWERED the phone. Called an 800# too - it was some weird recording that was not understandable - static and voice was unrecognizable. Even hotels.com called for me to see what the deal was early the next morning since I wasn't able to get in touch. She was not able to do so either!!!!!!! Later that morning hotels.com rep was able to contact them and they had CANCELED my reservation for the 2nd night too!! I TRIED TO CALL them at 2 different #s to let them know I was going to be LATE checking in but was not able! I will NEVER use Clarion for ANY of my travel needs.

There was only one staff member at breakfast but he was very efficient. Breakfast is made to order not buffet. Nice
