Close to Parris Island

Pros: Indoor pool
Cons: Sprucing up, it was a little dingy.
Location: Not much to do right by the hotel, everything is about 30 min away.
Stayed 2 nights for Parris Island graduation. Hotel is about 30 mins away from Parris Island. Bed was lumpy, A/C was cold, had an indoor pool which was nice, pleasant staff, decent shower. The room could have used some touch ups with paint. Would stay there again it needed.

Nice Stop on the way Home

Had to pull over for the night coming back from St. Augustine. I was pleasantly surprised by this location and the room. Clean, fresh, peaceful and just the stop I needed. If only one complaint, the water smelled of sulfur. Thankfully, they had bottled water in the room. Overally, a great motel and friendly staff, especially with it being almost 3am when I got there!

easy access to I95

Pros: easy access to I 95
Cons: Put firmer mattresses on the beds, put mats in the tubs so the patrons won't fall
Location: Hilton Head was nice
The hotel was easy to find from I95 the room was clean, but the microwave didn't work there was no mat in the tub to keep you from falling. The mattress on the bed was to soft, especially for people with bad backs. The young lady that waited on me didn't bother to tell me about the free breakfast. The wi fi didn't work.

Breakfast Fiasco

Breakfast was a fiasco. Although the food and variety was very good the hotel apparently uses the furniture in another area during the evening and supposedly moves it back for breakfast in the morning. We had only a couple seats and a table available for everyone....no place to sit....hard to eat standing up while holding your food.

We were desperate for a room over the 4th of July travel weekend, so we settled for this hotel even tho we have had less than stellar experiences at other Best Westerns. This stay proved to be no exception. The room was very basic, which is fine, but the mattress was creaky and needed replacing, and the room smelled very strongly of cleaning chemicals. Check-in was not pleasant, as the clerk seemed very harassed and was rather surly to the waiting guests. Then our free breakfast turned out to be $6 vouchers that could be used at either the nearby Waffle House or McDonald's, both of which were overflowing with hungry guests the next morning. I will not stay here again.

Pet friendly

Great pet friendly hotel for our basset hound. We had a ground floor room with a large lawn right outside.
