Located in Teika, this hotel is within 3 mi (5 km) of Olympic Sports Centre, Palladium, and Arena Riga. Berg's Bazaar and Cathedral of Christ's Nativity are also within 3 mi (5 km).
The information package in the room stated that the sheets were to be changed every 3 days. We stayed for 10 days and the sheets were never changed. We mentioned this repeatedly to the receptionist who said that she would inform Housekeeping but nothing ever happened. The same information package stated that the room was to be made up everyday but it was made up a grand total of twice in 10 days even though we put the "Please make up my room" sign on the door according to instructions in the information package. It was made up after the first 3 days and after repeatedly requesting it be done again several days later, they sent someone up immediately while we waited in the lobby. All they did was change the towels and make the bed without changing the sheets. The floor was never swept in 10 days. The trainee receptionist appeared to care about the situation while the other two couldn't care less. The staff at the restaurant were nice. The hotel itself has paper thin walls and the clientele seemed to think it was ok to laugh and shout in the hallways in the middle of the night. There was actually a party in the hall on New Year's Eve.
