I picked this hotel based on location and price. I previously lived in Riga and knew exactly where I wanted to be. I picked the superior room on the top floor as I originally booked to attend with my partner. it would have been nice for 2 as it had a lovely roof terrace and was quite spacious. The top floor room is not accessible by elevator - the elevator goes to 6 and then you have to take a spiral staircase to the 7th floor. It is unique but a bit of a hassle on crutches and with luggage - surprised the staff didn't offer to assist or change my room. I never woke up in time for the breakfast so cannot comment on the food. my only drawback to the room is that it was stuffy as the windows didn't open - only the terrace door did. This might be an issue in the summer.

Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed review. I am sorry to hear that our Front Desk staff wasn't competent. Furthermore, I will personally supervise the team so this won't happen again. Regards, the windows - we also have rooms where it is possible to open the windows. We hope to welcome you and your partner back to the hotel in the near future!
With Best Regards,
Front Office Manager
