Checked in at midnight, at which point I had wondered in the surrounding neighborhood for 10 minutes, looking for a parking spot. The hotel was undergoing renovations and didn't have any spots left as they were all taken by construction vehicles. I was offered a parking permit at a carpark for an additional fee. That was absurd and frustrating considering that I had booked the most expensive room for an 9 hour stay. The worst part though was the utter lack of courtesy the hotel had to its guest (me), by allowing workers to use extremely loud powertools early in the morning. Needless to say but that woke me straight up and set me in a very bad mood. Tried calling the reception from the room to complain but got no reply. Called the hotel to explain the issue to which I got a rather rude explanation that the hotel was undergoing renovations. No apology, no nothing. I insisted on having them stop working until at least 9 AM. Reception said they'd look into it but nothing happened. At checkout time, the receptionist couldn't be bothered to ask how my stay was and provided no means of discussion. I was promtly told that the bill had been taken care of and sent on my way. I have never experienced such a lack of service and apathy towards hotel courtesy and comfort as I have with this hotel. I will without a doubt never visit this hotel ever again and will therefore not recommend it!
