    Damp room

We booked in for two nights. The room was so damp and there were damppatches on the ceiling and walls, with no ventilation. Our clothes became damp and it was impossible to get dry. It was so bad that we curtailed our stay after one night

The rooms where very dated and the decor was very dated. However it was clean and one the job. Just a basic pub style accommodation. We didnt eat at the pub so cannot say on the standard of food. We had a room on the front of the pub facing the main street. Which was very noisy due to passers by and users of the pub. Whilst trying to sleep after a cycling even. All we heard for hours was foul and abusive language. Thankfull we had no children for the evening. Price i felt was way over priced for the standard of rooms. Pictures on the website make this hotel and pub look far better than it actually was.
