We had a corner junior suite on the 30th floor and the views were amazing! We could not have asked for a better experience at a hotel, and all of the staff was very helpful.

Old and bad conditions hotel

Cons: Needs a complete remidelation
Location: Location is good in Atlántica avenue
Very old and in bad conditions hotel in Rio,everything is in bad conditions,bad mattress,old towels,dirty rooms, needs a completely remodelation.Its is not a 5 star hotel ,it's a 3 star hotel.The only thing good was breakfast.There was a mark of blood in my bed ,I ask for change and the new room they gave was also with the back of the bed dirty.I payed for a 5 star hotel and this isn't.I payed in Expedia and when I made the check in they charge me again in the lobby of the hotel,I asked why they didn't ask me before,no answer.

Good views, comfortable but needs some updating

Checking in was a bit cumbersome - took far too long. The views from my two rooms were both great: mountains on one side, the beach on the other. I gave the hotel a 4 overall because the floors were a bit scruffy - just from wear and tear--and some essentials (in my opinion) were missing from the rooms (tea, coffee makers, facial tissues, shower caps), just some things I have come to expect at the finer hotels. Breakfast was fine and the waiters were friendly as was the staff in general. The concierge was particularly helpful. All in all, the hotel should be great once the Hilton takes over. It has a good location and all the basics are already there.

Real 5***** Hotel

Pros: Expedia.
Cons: The roof top pool, nice view but doesn't look very clean and was the water was so warm (will say even hot) ...could be improved with a little effort.
Location: Sugarloaf Beach Restaurants Shopping malls Tours
Amazing stay! Stuff very helpful ...checked in early/checked out late and the stuff was very accommodating. Right in the beach, everything close distance (sugarloaf mountain 15mn away drive) Very safe hotel with security stuff by the door ...loved the door men, always there to open your door / car every time ! Good job guys. Room very nice, amazing view on the beach. Totally recommend it !!!

Beautiful hotel close to Copacabana beach

This was my first time in Rio and I picked this brand based on past reviews. I am so glad I did . Hotel was in a great location close to convenient stores, 15 min walk to a shopping center w great shoes and clothes , and across the beach . Restaurant breakfast was the Best I've ever had even in fancy hotels . Servers were great and seemed to really care about your needs . I got an upgrade in my room based on me mentioning about my birthday . Patricia at the front desk arranged a cake delivered to my room and I received chocolates every day of my stay . Security is great . My husband and I felt very safe here . Hotel is very clean and our housekeeper maintained our room spotless . I can't thank them enough for my great stay . Forgot to mentioned I got a nice body massage in floor 39. Price is pretty much the same than in the United States but I felt so relax and calm afterwards . I highly recommend this hotel . Enjoy !

Everything was good except the internet service was terrible. Don't plan on doing anything more than posing a picture on facebook.

No visitors allowed in guest rooms

The hotel has a strict 'No visitors in guest rooms policy' that you are not told about before booking or at check in. Visitors are only allowed in the lobby and restaurant after presenting themselves to reception with their photo ID.

Breathtaking views and comfortable hotel

We were a returning customer from many years ago. The hotel is in a very good location & is comfortable. Amazing views from the room & from the top floor swimming pool area & bar. Pricey room mini bar (300 ml water bottle R$ 8.00 & coffe which was DIY). Really 2 bottles of water per day should be included as part of the room in specially when we stayed in a junior suite. Lovely breakfast but get there early, before 09:00 & prior to the Brazilians arrive as it gets busy. Buffet dinner is worth the price, although, it could have a better selection of warm food. There was one problem with our bathroom, the toilet blocked very easy due to insufficient water to flash & need to be fixed. Slow wifi connection. Otherwise, we really recommend this hotel for its comfort, quality and breathtaking views.
