Great hotel in Ipanema

Got a great deal on an ocean view room and we could not have been happier. Modernized and classy, great balcony, complete breakfast, roof pool & deck, it was all great. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Hotel cerca de playa, con excelente servicio

Pros: El servicio del personal
Cons: El check in máa temprano o dar comodidades para quienes lleguen más temprano
Location: Playa, lugares para comer y compras
El hotel está en buenas condiciones, el personal muy atento, sólo que el vuelo llegó muy temprano y tuvimos que quedarnos en otro hotel hasta el check in (cerca de 9 horas), por lo que tuvimos que pagar casi el equivalente a otra noche.

Staff and service are subpar. Room was available at 430 instead of 3 pm but once I stepped in was the wrong room. King size bed was guaranteed in reservation. They initially ignored my request, finally two years later asked me to forward the confirmation. Correct room was not available until 830 pm. Wifi had to be paid for and didn't work consistently or throughout the hotel. Food service staff were great but general hotel and front desk staff were consistently an issue. I was double charged upon checkout. I have emailed the front desk 3 times since and it remains unresolved. Will have to resolve it with my credit card company instead. Very disappointed with the customer service, not sure how they have a 3.7 rating.

Well located hotel

Pros: Room was comfortable and clean. Had a smally balcony too. Breakfast was OK.
Cons: Free Wifi was only in lobby and restaurant which was super expensive. As wifi in room was 25 BRLmy advice would be do buy a local sim card (same cost)
Location: Beach is over the road and Ipanema centre is about 10 minutes walk. Metro station is a good 15 minutes walk away.
Hotel is well located on the road by the beach in between Ipanema and Leblon. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby and the beach is over the road. As its not on the beach you are really paying for location on the road.

Ótima localização, porém hotrl velho.

À localização é ótima, porém os quartos e o restaurante do café da manhã precisam de uma reforma urgente. Os banheiros dos quartos estão velhos e cheio de vazamentos.
