Ok Hotel But not worth the price :(
Noisy and old hotel , really needs Reno as mirror were rusted and washroom floor was cracked and needs remodel . No coffee machine inside room. TV was disconnected the second day. Breakfast was the same in 5 days and was simple , we ate out to experience their breakfast food !

ALERT ALERT… Don’t stay at this hotel!
Mi experiencia en el hotel fue terrible. Habían un criadero de bedbugs en la cama del cuarto que me asignaron (room 205). La atención fue mínima, me cambiaron de cuarto, porque les mostré las pulgas con la lupa de mi celular y las picaduras en mi cuerpo. El hotel es un asco. No tienen cuidado con la limpieza. El desayuno es normal, probé mejores en otros hoteles. La máquina de café no la tienen bien ajustada para que haga buen café. La verdad no es un buen hotel comparación precio. No se hospeden aquí.

Very helpful staff which made for a pleasant stay. My room was cleaned daily and the breakfast options were delightful. This is a prime location minutes from the beach in a fairly safe location.

Falta muito para ser um 4 * Falta limpeza, manutenção , o Wi-Fi não funciona direito. O café da manhã fraco para pretender ser um hotel de categoria. Rio de Janeiro, somente tem melancia e manga para oferecer? Limpeza fraca no quarto, fungos no banheiro. Apenas chegaria a um três estrelas o problema é que o valor cobrado é de um 4 estrelas.

The hotel was dirty, outdated, needing repairs, mold in the shower area. If wasn't so late at night, we would go to another hotel. One more example that pictures can lie.

Es una excelente opcion por la ubicacion de la propiedad, se siente una zona segura, porque a unos pasos esta una oficina de policias. Puedes caminar tranquilamente y estar a unos pasos de Copacabana o Ipanema sin problema. La atencion del staff y servicio bien, hubiera estado perfecto si la atencion de la señorita que realizo mi check-out hubiera sido mas amable, ademas de que me cobraron 40 reales por guardar mi equipaje, que no tengo problema en pagarlos, el detalle es que no se informa en los detalles del hotel que cobran por guardar el equipaje. Dos puntos que no me gustaron de la propiedad: (1) los blancos super desgastados y algunos manchados y (2) las camas muy malas, podia sentir los resortes que salian del colchon. Una buena opcion si buscas ubicacion y seguridad.

Well my list of DESLIKES is a bit longer so I will start with that: 1. Transparency - The swimming pool unavailable but not mentioned when you book. 2. Breakfast - for 9 days, the scrambled eggs undercooked and runny. Really gross. EVERY. DAY. 3. Comfort: The TV in our room was so bad. Everything rundown and outdated. There was swage smell in the bathroom. The mattress horrible. The fridge does not cool so well. 4. Staff: The housekeeper and doorbell guy were very friendly. Reception not so much. They become rude when you show interest in their tour packages but if you decide not to do it, the guy will not even respond if you say "good morning" or "good night" Ridiculous. Also did not care if you needed to extend your stay and they had no vacancy. This is barely a 2 stars. Good: one thing is good is the water pressure in the shower but that is a common thing in Brazil.

pool was closed, it was not in conditions of use, very bad outdoor facilities. being in Rio de Janeiro in a 4 star hotel without a pool costing over $100 a day is absurd

Staff was great, rooms were clean, breakfast was good! Only thing I did not like was the fact that the building is old. At times the key card was not working in our room, elevator buttons did not work all the time, cracked bathroom tiles which were repaired but lots of mold on them, doors were being painted so smell of paint on some hallways. Overall it’s a win if you just want a block away from Copacabana beach, and don’t mind the things that come with maintaining an old building :)

I absolutely loved André upon our very early arrival into Brazil. Andre was so wonderfully accommodating to accept our early check in further charming us with adjusting our original room to the exact room we booked in the pictures. Taking absolute care of us! The breakfast for me was perfect! There was fresh fruit everyday that I absolutely enjoyed with a fried egg. The room service I wish went until midnight the salmon with rice and black beans and salad was amazing. The shower water pressure was superb! Location not even a full block away from the beach Great location and service for price. My only disappointment was the gym and pool being unavailable. Other than that I would recommend for a short stay or long stay in the double suite only

The property was ok. They tried to give me a smaller room and when I complained, they took me to another room that was even smaller. I had to get serious for them to give me the junior suite. At that time I was so tired of going downstairs I said fine. I did not have the junior suite on my reservation! I had the executive suite and they gave me a much smaller room. I want a refund for the room not given! They should only charge for the room they put me in! Very disappointed and will not be going to that hotel anymore!

Breakfast was good but the hotel itself was run down especially our room. The noise level in our room was horrible. It sounded like the window was open even though it was closed. You can hear everything that is happening on the street at night.

Location - one step from Copacobana
Hotel looks dated when you arrive but the rooms are nearly refurnished and clean. Stayed in delux room which faced the city and you could see the beach (copacobana). Bed was super huge and comfortable and the room is a good size. Very clean rooms and overall felt safe/comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. Good selection and everyday we were satisfied. Location is amazing, just one street from copacobana beach and 15mins to Ipanema beach. There are plenty of food places to eat and there is a snack bar right opposite the hotel which is open until very late and does great burgers and Acai. It's super cheap too. The hotel has a rooftop, a small swimming pool, gym and steam room. Nothing fancy, bit poor in quality but it does the job. The rooftops has 360 views which are nice as you can see copacobana and Favalas. On checkout, we had to pay R20 each for hotel to keep our bags. Usually it's free but the hotel asked for cash.

No fue una buena experiencia y paso a detallar los pros y contras del lugar. En principio, la ubicacion es perfecta, el desayuno esta bien y la ducha sale con mucha fuerza. Por el lado de las contras, que son mas que los pro, el precio parecia conveniente pero pagamos 20 dolares por dia de estacionamiento, si quieres toallas para la playa tienes que pagar 10 reales por dia por toalla, el lugar para desayunar es muy chico, lss paredes de la habitacion de carton y, como si fuese poco, el front desk no ayuda en nada. Yapa: Tardaron 25 minutos de reloj en traerme el auto cuando me quise ir.

We stayed for two nights. Unfortunately the elevator wasn’t working part of the time and it made a high noise like an alarm all the time which was very unpleasant. Also the Wifi was very slow, in the room it hardly even worked at all. I cannot understand we still have these problems in 2023. Otherwise the room was nice and clean, the shower as well und the Airconditioning worked well. The breakfast was ok, sad that there are almost no vegan options.

The hotel is in located 1 block from the beach, it was literally what we needed to be able to enjoy Rio. The only thing we didn't like was that our room smelled a lot like cleaning products or something, mostly (I believe) due to the lack of air passing by the building.

Great location, one block from Copacabana Beach. Rooms are dated. The walls are soundproof but hallway noise through the door and street noise from the window was disruptive at times.

Todo lo que un turista busca, ubicación (muy buena, entre Copacabana e Ipanema, a 1 cuadra de la playa) precio accesible, desayuno muy variado y los cuartos muy buenos . Lo recomiendo !

Your average hotel in a great oocation
Nice location near arpoador. Nice staff, excellent breakfast buffet. Room has adequate size and configuration. Generally very clean , except some mold in the shower. Wi-fi is spotty, had to stand near the door to get some.Pool on top is small, not attended and has no services. Bring your towell.

Perfect Location
Perfect location next to South Copacabana and short 10 min walk to restaurants of Ipanema. Small footprint, but high pressure shower will scrub off every last grain of sand.

So although this hotel has modernized some of their rooms, I was put in one of the non-renovated rooms so my experience was quite different. The room was poorly lit and there was mildew in the shower. The bidet didn’t work. The breakfast was mediocre. The rooftop was nice and it looked like some of the top floors had nicer rooms but I missed out. Price was decent though.

Good bed in a clean and functional room. Room was maintained well. The breakfast was better than some other hotel breakfasts that I have experienced in other Rio de Janeiro hotels.
