    4/5 Good

This place have outdated rooms, old furnishings, dirty carpet, and room smells like old wet rug. On a good note, the staff were amazing and helpful. There is security 24hr/day that monitors the people that goes in and out of the hotel (gave me peace of mind with my safety), continental breakfast has vast array of choices of food, and my room’s view was stunning with 180 degree of the Copacabana beach ( considering i paid extra $100). I would definitely recommend it. 4/5 stars 👍

Nice hotel, aging a little, but still in good shape. Excellent location, nice restaurant and swimming pool. Breathtaking views, great access to beach and boardwalk.

    Business trip Rio

I have stayed at this hotel a few times now for business trips. The rooms are getting a little tired and need refreshing.. The locality is second to none right on the Copacabana Beach area.

noon after a long travel. We waited on the line for check in and when reached our turn, instead of serving us, the representative sent us for the VIP representative for which we had to wait on a second line. So the VIP service we got was to wait on two lines instead of one. As it was noontime they had no room ready for us so we were asked to wait in the lobby for a while ( the representative was impatient and could not give us time estimation so we can decide whether we wait or go for a walk) we wanted to wait at the lobby but there was not single free seat. We also learned that the lounge we are entitled for (higher room rate) is closed during weekends. I think this information should be available for us at the time of booking. Should we have known that ahead of time, we would have book a cheaper room. Exhausted we left for a walk. The room was spacious with beautiful sea view. As stated on the website there was a nesspresso machine available in the room but you had to pay for the capsules! I think that this should be included especially for a 250 $ per night rate. Breakfast is nicely arranged in the rooftop restaurant with beautiful view however also here cappuccino or nesspresso was with extra cost. The omelette was inedible to be as it was severely undercooked. Very sparse options for vegans (mainly fruits) no vegetables or salads at all. We asked for late checkout and where offered to stay until 2 pm instead of noon but since we needed more time we paid additional 2
