"We enjoyed our stay at Coastal Sands in a 2 BR suite. The proximity to the beach and boardwalk is excellent. The assigned parking spot was helpful. The amount of space in the suite was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenagers). We also enjoyed the pool area more than we expected. The privacy of the pool was great compared to other older, renovated hotels. Some things to prepare for if you plan to stay at Coastal Sands: the kitchenette does not have a coffee maker, and it has a two-burner cooktop, so options for cooking a meal in the room are limited. There were no utensils in the kitchen, either for cooking or eating, but we made it work by buying plasticware at the nearby dollar store. Overall, it was a good place to stay, especially for the price."
