A disappointment

We got a suite thinking it would be better, we were wrong. They are the farthest from everything so lots of walking was the result. That may not be too bad however. The rooms show their age, not horrible but I expect much more for the price. The tv is mounted on a pole in front of the beds. An awkward position when moving around and it was no where near level. Typical Panamá construction. There are no doors on the bathroom but inside the bathroom there are clear glass doors for the shower and toilet. If you are with your family this is quite a problem. Honeymooners only here. The big swimming pool is actually so big they have a boat that takes you to the part you can swim in. For some reason that is locared on the other side. And is the boat isn't active they make you walk 3/4 around to the other side because you can't walk through the residents portion of the pole which would be 1/4 of the way. It's a decent place but it's still Panama so don't expect much.

Not a great tume

We were really hoping that we will have a good time like the last time we stayed there but there wasn't clean towels when we arrived. We had to wait since they said they were washing them. It was overcrowded and the staff was not helpful maybe because they are immigrants from other countries working in Panama so they don't really care too much about the costumers and what service is all about. Never again on Christmas time.

Disappointing experience

Pros: The view from the room was very pretty. That's about all I liked.
Cons: Everything. Starting with more transparency during the reservation process letting customers know what packages include advertised amenities.
Location: Location is near Panama City which makes it very convenient. Not much else going on in the area
I chose this hotel over others in the area because it claimed to have the largest sea water pool in Latin America so it was beyond disappointing when we were told that the package we reserved did not include the one thing that sold us on this "resort". Is a ripoff to advertise something and then not make it clear during the online reservation process what the packages DON'T include. In addition to that, we had issues getting clean towels to our room (I called the front desk 4 times and they told me that I had already called and they working on it after 4 hours had passed since my first call), had to call for toilet paper since they didn't bother cleaning our room or making sure we had everything restocked, they ran out of beach towels and we were told they would get more only to find out two hours later that the towels never arrived, the food was ok at best, some of the staff should get training on customer service as they obviously don't understand how to treat their guests, no idea why this place is called playa Blanca as the beach does not have white sand and is not that great. They tried to offer me a promotion as I was leaving but to be honest no amount of promotion would make me want to go back. Overall, a terrible experience that unfortunately put a damper on my vacation.

family weekend

Location: clean the beach side
the tv only had one channel, it was reported but take to long to solve the issue, room service (option 1) on the phone never was attended, very frustraiting, overall nice pools and good areas for kids, for food lovers, 2.0 of 5, no big deal. The shows for kids was 5 of 5. Other thing that was very frustrating was sales department, they are very insistent, i feelt so overwhelmed.

Good for a quick weekend getaway from the city.

Pros: Food at the Velero restaurant was very good, staff there were also great.
Cons: More uniform training of staff in the buffet area. Some were very good, some others not so.
Location: Beach was ok for relaxing a while, quick getaway in less than two hours from the city.
Unfortunately it was very noisy with the shows the resort sets for Saturday evenings, as our rooms were somewhat close. It was terrible that the noise continued even past midnight. So it did not make for a good night´s sleep. If you wish to rest, request a room that is at a further distance from the stage and party area.

I had the worse experience.

I had to move 3 timws looking for a better room, hard to find. First rolm had a non-working A/C unit #139. 2dn bedroom #229 we had to spend the night in this one because I had no time to move since I was late to a wedding, when we arrived late at night and the A/C wasn't cool enough we decided to move the bed!! Surprise!! There was an used condom under the bed. It was 2:00 am so I wasn't going to switch rooms, we decided to wait until sun comes up to sleep a little and then we went to front desk and they moved us to room #718 I spend 2 nights, unsatisfactory experience, they had a huge problem with the ayatem that controls the cards to open the doors of the rooms. Food is Really Poor quality and the Cherry on top.. I came back with a Fungus on my leg. I only used their pool 5 minutes Thursday afternoon and that's what I got. Don't go to this Place!!

Nice hotel with excellent choice of pools

Pros: The many choices of pools.
Cons: More variety of foods in the buffet.
Location: Water sports at the beach.
My wife and I just spent a week in March at the hotel. We had a nice stay at the hotel. It is a nice family friendly hotel. There are quiet areas for the adults and plenty of choices of activities for the children. The staff is friendly and helpful. The tennis court was in lousy shape when we got there. However, Ms. Jenifer De Gracia went out of her way to take care of the problem and within a day a new net was placed at the court. She was very open to listening to and doing something about the guests needs. I suggest they have larger variety of food selections at the buffet. The shrimp cocktail and "Ceviche" were excellent at the lagoon restaurant. Overall it was a great experience.

Location: Is located in a big complex with lots to do.
Very nice hotel, close to the beach, good food. Great place if you are travelling with children, it have plenty places and activities for them.

Dirty communication breakdown

Communication between the staff was horrible!! Trash was blowing around and everything was dirty! Do not stay here unless it is free!!!!
