Very disappointed by no tea or coffee making facility in the room. This is very unusual in a hotel of this standard. Also disappointed by the small bathroom with shower over the very small bath. Why not just have a walk-in shower and no bath ?

Dear Adrian, we would like to thank you for your review about your experience in our Hotel. Unfortunately, for security reasons the hotel has decided not to provide our rooms with kettle or other coffee making facility. However if our guests want to enjoy some drinks during the day there is our affiliated Restaurant/bar (HamburgeRiva) which is located directly under our Hotel in front of the lake that opens from 11am to 10pm. About the walk in shower, we do have some rooms with it and we give them based on request and availability. As you can immagine in this period we are fully booked so it is a bit tricky to accomodate our guests request if we do not know them in advance. Regardless of that, we hope to welcome you again in Riva del Garda for another wonderfull stay. Best regards.

Great location for Riva del Garda
Perfectly located for a few days in Riva del Garda. The lake and the old town are on the doorstep and there is a wonderful view across the lake for breakfast (which had a great offering)

We were expecting an out of this world holiday for what we paid. And both me and my daughter were v disappointed. The staff were very unfriendly and almost rude. I would not recommend this hotel and I’ve stayed in a lot of places. Staff usually make a holiday and if this was the case in our trip it’s a zero! The only bonus was that our highlight of the trip was our dinner in the Bastione. Which is obviously in the cable car opposite the hotel. Highly recommend there. The staff were amazing, the food was divine and the views spectacular. I’d probably recommend 10 different hotels in this area to this one!

Other than a lack of coffee maker and ice, it is a wonderful hotel. There is reduced rate parking but the process is awful. Out of frustration, we just paid full price. Evidently if they have your cars plate number, a camera will read it and let you in. It didnt work for us. Location is fabulous, breakfast is good and the room is comfortable.

Lovely hotel on the waterfront
Beautiful hotel right on the waterfront with views across the lake. Staff are very friendly and so helpful. the public areas are lovely. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable, and quite luxurious. the breakfast was a vast array of hot & cold buffet, help-yourself teas & coffees and even a smoothie station. The bar downstairs was a fab place for aperitivo in the sunshine by the water. the bikes are free to rent - quite basic but good condition. plenty room in the garage to store your own bike.

It had a very traditional feel but was exactly what we wanted and in a FANTASTIC location. Breakfast on the terrace facing the lake was particularly beautiful.

Beautiful Riva del Garda
Hotel was very centrally located with excellent breakfast room overlooking the lake. Room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was small. Staff were amazingly helpful. Ferry service was very close by. We would definitely stay here again.

A Little Bit of Italian Magic
Incredible location on the old Harbor at ari a del Garda. Lovely clean rooms and breakfast cafe looking out over the harbour. Rooms in back have views looking right up the mountains! Friendly helpful staff and entertainment in the piazza every night! What’s not to love!

This was our second stay at Hotel Europa and we will stay here again. Staff is welcoming and helpful. Some staff speak German and English as well which was a nice plus. Perfect location, amazing terrace, close parking, A++++ breakfast. Room was large and had a small terrace. Kids loved the slippers in the room.

Great staff, location and room however no pool!
I cannot complain about the condition of the hotel, its location, the breakfast or the staff. All were fantastic. However the cover image and name of the Hotel suggest there is a Pool. There is not! At all! Also there are pictures of mountain bikes and a statement that the Hotel offers complimentary bike hire. I presumed that the bike hire was to the standard shown in the pictures. They were not! 2 of the biggest reasons for booking this hotel was the pool and bike hire and both of which were not available which is extremely disappointing to also very misleading!

This hotel is situated in a great location in Riva. We took a room with a view to the lake,it was very beautiful. There is no noise from outside. Good restaurants close by. Little pool on the roof. Friendly staff. I recommend this hotel.

Great location, walking distance to shops, restaurants, attractions. Clean and friendly. Not luxurious but you don't go to Lake Garda to spend time in your room. Breakfast was great too.

Hotel Europa is an average hotel in a good location. We stayed for three nights and felt that the rate was too high for the quality of accommodation we got. On the first night there was a band playing outside the front of the hotel on the lakeside. The music went on until 11:30pm which I consider to be too late, 10pm would have been fine. The plug for the bathtub did not fit and meant I could not have a bath. This was rectified by the hotel when I asked but took longer than it should have.
