Clean bed lines, but furniture was nasty

Pros: Not much.
Cons: Everything from the lack of courtesy at front desk to the furniture which was not clean.
Location: In a shopping center. Starbucks not far down the street.
Arrived at hotel about 10:00pm - went to a little window (that had bars on it like a check cashing place). The guy did not speak English, so when I kept trying to inquire about the local area, and check out- he just kept ignoring me-and repeated my room number. I think they advertised continental breakfast, and there was none. The bed was the only clean thing, but the comforter I removed because it was nasty. The carpet, I didn't dare take my shoes off. The furniture needs to be desperately replaced. Check out was at 11am, and at 10 o'clock the front desk called me to ensure that I was leaving at 11. I said, yes, I know what time check out is. When I went to the front desk, to return the room key, I asked if I could get a receipt and they said no, it would have to come from Expedia. I told them I had signed an invoice when I checked in, so I should be able to get a receipt- and they just looked at me like I was crazy. Will not go back here again, unless totally desperate- and then I may go the a parking lot instead. It sits in a busy shopping center, that smells like menudo or something foul. No rest- not a great part of town, but somewhat close to freeway. Maybe it's worth what we paid, but

Will not return

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Elimination of horrible stinking smells.
Location: Had no desire to check out the neighborhood.
Shady part of town, sewer smell constant coming out of shower drain. Covered drain with towel, somewhat covered the smell.

Pros: location off the freeway and nearby shops
Cons: the welcome atmosphere just as the name itself which is call "Welcome Inn"
Location: just your daily basic stores n shops as in any neighborhood
I am in town for a weekend to visit family. Getting to the hotel was a challenge from the airport (ONT) with my car rental. too much constructions and road closure. the exit to the hotel was closed there had to take next exit few miles away and follow gps detouring the residential neighborhood.. took a long time. when i check in, the clerk was friendly but i think he was the owner. he was the only staff i see. the lobby was tiny and front desk was enclosed so it didn't feel like a normal hotel atmostphere in a ruff neighborhood. i like that there are stores n shop nearby but it felt more like a motel. it's great for someone on a budget n quick stay but just not for me. again i had a hard time getting back to the airport with all these construction n street closures. i believe this could be a great motel or hotel if the owner could invest more money into update a new look and room all together instead of small things, to give it a great bright atmosphere a great experience like the bigger hotel chains. then i would return again and again and don't mind paying a higher rates. it is a great location off the freeway and with shopping near by. thank you for your open mindness toward my review.

Not a friendly area.

I left the hotel 2 days early because of the neighborhood. I felt it was not safe.

I was looking for an inexpensive clean room with a comfortable bed & a hot shower. The Welcome Inn was that and more. I loved the 32 inch tv w/ satellite programming, granite counters and super comfy king size bed. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for an inexpensive but comfortable room.

A nice bargain

For $52/night I'm not expecting the four seasons. The room was clean and in good repair. The comfort level was decent. The staff was congenial.
