Renovation almost done

Pros: Employees were enthusiastic and ensured guests were happy
Cons: Construction completion.
Location: Walking distance to Playa.
We were disappointed with the level of construction, but think this will be a great place once completed.

Overall bad experience. food was not good, the Air conditioning was horrible, drink service was really good, and the beach front was clean and pretty. Could not be comfortable in the hotel rooms because it was so hot.

Staff was great! Hotel was under renovations so some areas were not available. Very small resort. But cleaned and maintained. The food was disappointing. Not much of a variety. Breakfast and lunch was the same daily, but dinner was different daily but not that great. It worked for the 3 nights we were there. Did get a cheap deal so can't complain too much. The beach area was beautiful.

Great beach area

Great beach area. Not crowded. Friendly, helpful staff. Would like to see better eating areas with some air conditioning. very relaxing but a lot of resort was under construction.

Lo que más nos gustó fue el tamaño del hotel; no es ni muy chico ni tan masificado como otros vecinos como el Riu. El hotel está en pleno proceso de remodelación tras la adquisición del mismo por Barceló. Le hacía falta especialmente en los baños de las habitaciones que son algo ochenteros. Yo fui en familia con niñas de 10 años. A estas edades el kids club ya no les gusta porque esta destinado para niños más pequeños. El hotel tiene un acuerdo con un club vacacional italiano. Todas las actividades estan impulsadas y destinados a huespedes italianos que, son una mayoria. Si no eres italiano no puedes hacer uso del club, lo que es excluyente para los no italianos. Todos los servicios de entretenimiento del hotel están demasiado enfocado al público italiano

Fint og koselig hotell med noe aktivitetsstøy

Vi bodde her i 14 dager. Maten er helt ok. Det pågikk noe oppussing når vi var der men uten å plage oss nevneverdig. Men aktivitetstøyen fra det ene bassenget, spesielt fra aktivitetsleder med mikrofon, var til tider veldig plagsom. Så tenker man å være der for ro og fred er nok ikke dette hotellet. Men likevel et hyggelig sted å være for familien.

Great hotel but rooms need updates

Overall our vacation was an amazing time, we liked the size of the hotel and the service was excellent. I did not like the rooms at all they were uncomfortable and the lighting the worst to do your makeup, however, We had a great time outside of that...overall the hotel needs to be updated a bit but it is nice and the service a 10!

Relax nella natura

Pros: Hotel immerso nel verde. Vedrete gironzolare diversi animaletti, tra cui iguana, procioni e dasiprottidi, che all'inizio pensavo fossero topi giganti!
Cons: La spiaggia è bella ma se volete nuotare a largo non potete perché bisogna rimanere entro i limiti delle boe per via delle barche e le moto d'acqua.
Location: L'hotel si trova in una zona molto tranquilla, uscendo a piedi sulla sinistra ci sono dei negozietti di souvenirs e uno starbucks con il wifi gratis.
Ho prenotato questo resort perché era in offerta speciale su Expedia. Appena arrivati ci hanno fatto attendere oltre le 15:00 perché la camera non era ancora pronta, nel frattempo abbiamo provato il ristorante a buffet situato sopra la reception. Al primo impatto, abituata agli altri resort, ci siamo detti "quant'è piccolo", in realtà di scelta ce n'è molta, a cominciare dall'angolo della pasta che è davvero buonissima in quanto il cuoco è italiano! Poi c'è la griglia con carne o pesce a seconda del giorno e poi insalate, zuppe, secondi, contorni e dolci buonissimi. Le camere sono situate in delle casette che contengono ognuna 4 camere, 2 al piano terra, 2 al primo piano. Tutti i balconcini hanno tavolo sedie e un'amaca dove potersi rilassare! La nostra era al piano di sopra ed il soffitto era altissimo e in legno e paglia, molto molto bello! Tuttavia essendo nel verde abbiamo trovato diversi insetti, ma questo è il prezzo della natura quindi non gli abbiamo dato peso, anche perché la pulizia era davvero impeccabile! Per essere metà luglio devo dire che il resort non era molto affollato, c'erano molti turisti americani, messicani, qualche inglese e anche tanti italiani, anche perché è anche una struttura gestita da eden viaggi. L'animazione non è invadente, il pomeriggio in piscina fanno dei giochi a premi e la sera uno spettacolo, per il resto tutta tranquillità! Il personale è davvero gentilissimo. Se volete rilassarvi e mangiare bene, questo è il resort che fa per voi!

Nice hotel, timeshare people were a bother

I loved Allegro playacar! everyone was so nice and welcoming. the only thing that sucked was the timeshare people who kept bothering us to the point where we didn't want to even go towards the front desk. other than that, the room was nice, the pools were great, staff were super friendly and accommodating. as far as booking excursions, I booked with vaccination barcelos right at the resort, to find out from some new friends that they charged us 3x the price of excursions booked outside of the resort. my advice would be go to fifth ave, they have lots of places to book excursions and it's very cheap there!
