Pros: Staff are nice and food is OK.
Rooms definitely need work because they are in poor conditions. Activities not for Mexicans - too much tourist traps.

Si quieres olvidarte de estar llevando tanto efectivo que para las comidas y actividades extra, este hotel es una excelente opción, la comida muy buena y variedad para escoger, definitivamente intentaré regresar.

We had an amazing time. I would recommend going to Portofino and Oceana for dinner. The hotel staff was extremely nice. They took good care of us.

Cons: Concierge is nothing more then a sales team. Entertainment needs a total overhaul.
We have stayed at multiple all-inclusive resorts over the years all have there good and bad point. First the good, for an all-inclusive Dreams had great food, everywhere we ate was very good and high quality. The staff running the restaurants and bars were very friendly and accommodating, top notch. Now the bad, the entertainment was non existent. Entertainment at the pool consisted of game each day and water aerobics performed by a single staff member. The nigh time entertainment was terrible, uncoordinated, and boring as could be seen by the only 5-20 guest who stayed each night. On high light was the comedy circus comedian.. Now the really bad that soured my view of the Dreams Brand and AMResorts family, the pressure selling and deceptive tactics. From the moment we arrive the concierge was trying to sell us on attending a presentation on what he call a "Loyalty program" similar to that of airline miles, we said no thank you. Every time I tried to get a taxi I was once again told about the program and how I get free stuff. I take the blame for deciding finally to attend only to find it was nothing more that a Timeshare style vacation club, not a loyalty program. It took more 3 hours rather then the 60-90 minutes they promised repeatedly. This is nothing more then Bate and Switch and this place is constantly trying to up sell you on club, tours, and hotel services, something I would partially expect from a regular resort but not and All inclusive.

Pros: Amazing, beach, staff and food. Close to Talum and Playa Del Carman. ALL INCLUSIVE w/no limits
Cons: Absolutely nothing.
Location: Talum Mayan Ruins Playa Del Carmen Swim with the Dolphins TONS of shopping/markets
Amazing hotel...have never met so many friendly people. It literally is ALL inclusive. There are not limits on any food or drinks of any kind. Lots of restaurants, all very good food with no reservations required. Even everything in the Coffee shop was included. They did everything to make our stay amazing, they make you feel like family. Beautiful beach with clean white sand. The hotel is located in a gated resort community so we felt very safe to walk around freely. They have their own swimming with the dolphins.....make sure to do this!!! VERY family oriented, they cater to everyone as if they were the only people there.

Pros: Literally everything but I have to chose one, the oceanfront restaurant was worth the trip!
Cons: Rooms could get an update.
Location: Swim with Dolphins, Golf, 3 Ecoparks very close by (Xcaret, Hel-Ha and Xplor).
Perhaps one of the best services I have experienced. With an all-inclusive package one of my main concerns was the service and the quality of the food and drinks served. The hotel facilities are ok but they make up for that by keeping the hotel clean, comfortable, and by providing excellent service. You can train any employee to do something but you can't train attitude, the personnel (all of them, no exception) were friendly, attentive to detail, and kept the customer in mind at all times. The food was non-pretentious and great; you can tell when something is meticulously prepared and that is reflected in the flavor. The are many five star restaurants that would aspire to reach those levels of flavor. My children (7 and 10) had a great time with all the activities they had at the hotel: from sandcastle building competition, to cross training exercise, movie night, ceramic painting, to name just a few.
