Top Notch smaller resort

From check in to check out, this place was definitely 5* in service. They bent over backwards to please. Everyone was always smiling, always said hello, and would help you with anything you needed. Room was very large and nicely appointed. Open bathroom area - doors on potty and shower only, jetted tub separated the room. Nice living area with desk and table if you order room service. Views from balcony of the pools. We stayed in bldg. 1 after moving from bldg. 7 because it was too noisy. It was straight across from the central plaza and theatre. Bldgs 1-5 offer much quieter areas overlooking the lazy river which is amazing!! A close walk to the lazy river, restaurants and bars. There is always live entertainment going on-Bands, singers, dinner parties, etc. Food was good, sometimes great. Enjoyed the buffet with good selections for breakfast and lunch. In the other restaurants it is their interpretation of what we eat. If you close your eyes and just eat it and judge it on flavor only its great, but if you order a Rueben and expect a Rueben - forget it. We ate at all the restaurants and my favorite was Chez Isabelle, but it was inconsistent. We liked the hibachi at Spice and Mexican at Agave. The best lunch we had by far was at Las Olas "tex mex" ribs and chicken on the grill and Burgers another day. Beach was nice but not as clear and blue as other places but still nice. They kept the seaweed cleaned up. Pools were great but they need more chairs and bathrooms closer.
