Our first experience with an all inclusive

Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: The air conditioner just blew air around the room that was the same temperature as outside. Made for uncomfortable sleep.
Location: Close to Tulum and Xel-Ha.
Beautiful grounds, friendly staff. Food was good, especially the desserts in the dinner buffet and the pastries at breakfast. There is a tram to transport you around the resort, but we walked everywhere and enjoyed the flora and fauna all along the way. The beach is beautiful with some snorkeling spots. On our first night, the staff left a fruit basket in the room for us to enjoy. On the last night, we were given a bottle of alcohol (though I don't know what kind, as we do not drink). But the gesture was kind. :)

Our room smelled musty and dirty. Then we moved onto the buffet where the food was inedible. Extremely disappointed and would not recommend staying here.

Great resort for families!!

We stayed here with our three children and we had a great time! Very close to the beach. A very nice pool for the kids with water slides! The food was great and service was excellent! Will definitely come back!

Good beach, bad transportation and food.

Pros: Kids club and family oriented and great beach
Cons: No hot water in our shower although we had hot water in our jacuzzi. We told the front desk but they thought we could not figure out how to use it.
Location: We have been to Mexico a lot so never left the property
The good: great beach with plenty of chairs, shade, palapas and views of ocean. The room was nice with a door to the bedroom giving us privacy from the TV room and kids fold out bed. 2 TV's--one for us and one for the kids. The jacuzzi bathtub was great, had a spray head so could get sand and major dirt off of kids before bath and they loved it. I liked the coffee pot in the room. The maybe: Lots of wildlife (Coati, Agoutis, squirrels, iguanas, raccoons) but was worried about the spread of disease or even attack due to the large number of animal packs. Rabies????? Many people were feeding the loads of animals hanging around the beach and rooms. Cute but wild animals are dangerous to people. The downright bad: Everyone wants a tip, carry lots of small cash. What a pain. The transportation was impossible. Most is reserved for some sort of time share deal they have going on and they do not have any interest in picking up the regular folks. One driver said to us (2 young kids and we are over 65) "it not too far (it was about a ten minute walk) just walk !!!" We had no choice, so we walked. Forget the boat--it is reserved for the time share folks most of the time. The food looked great but tasted terrible most of the time. I'm not sure why. We are veteran Mexican visitors and generally love the food but not here. For example, the rice must have been on display too long and stirred up to incorporate hard overcooked pieces with the rest. We thank you for highlighting the fact that our resort is very family friendly and that we have very nice rooms and accommodations, however we deeply regret the impression you have taking of the attentions form our bellboys, transportation facilities are available for all guests, the train we have goes from lobby to lobby and we have special golf carts that go to all the buildings, nevertheless we will transmit your concerns to our management. Regarding your comment about the wildlife, we are a Hotel committed to sustainability and, therefore, with the protection of the diverse ecosystems that are in the zone, we have signs of do not feed the animals, and we encourage our guests not to interact with them directly, as the animals get confident, and some costumers as was your case, will be worried by this situation, however we do apologize for any inconvenience this could have cause you, and we will continue to look for improvements in this matter. We appreciate your suggestions and observations about the restaurant food, we appreciate your feedback, as we are always looking for opportunities to address any areas of improvement and growth opportunities. To difficult to reserve the restaurants. For the money paid should be easier to have access to restaurants different from the buffet

Very large facility

Pros: Food and the ground keeper very kind and helpful.
Cons: Check in..check out...every one that we dealt with in the main lobby found them to be a little tired of the tourist.

Found the resort very large . Food was very good and wait staff very helpful. The front desk not very accommodation and sometimes even rude. Overall experience not bad no need to go back.

Not for everyone

Very noisy. Do not expect to be able to go to bed early. Bad food. The only place in Mexico that I got a stomach ache.
