Beautiful hotel on the beach

The hotel was beautiful. The staff was amazing, very friendly. So much to do without having to leave the grounds. The only downfall was our room in the Platinum section smelled like mildew/mold. The room itself was comfortable and stocked very well if not for the smell it would be a 10/10

Great All-Inclusive experience

Pros: The amenities were excellent. Wait staff, particularly the bartenders, were very friendly and helpful. Rooms in the villas are fantastic!
Cons: The food at the buffets could be upgraded. It was below average. Make sure you eat whatever the "they make as you wait" options are
Location: We took a day trip to Akumal to snorkel and it was great. Cost $30/person and you are required to have a guide. They have equipment if you need.
We were pleased upon arrival to be upgraded to Platinum level (no idea why, but not arguing). Our Villa was beautiful; marble floors, a huge jacuzzi tub, King sized bed and a balcony with a thatched roof. Also had an OUTDOOR shower with a thatched roof. All of it was immaculately kept and maintained. The Platinum level included free WiFi, unlimited mini bar, unlimited top shelf alcohol all around the resort, an adults-only pool area with a great bar and our own roped-off beach area. The food was pretty mediocre at the buffet areas, but that's to be expected at all-inclusive. We ate at several of the restaurants by reservation (also included in the price) and the food there was hit and miss. The hibachi restaurant was excellent; seafood pretty average and the "Brazilian" steakhouse also pretty average. Breakfast at the buffets was better than lunch or dinner.

We had an amazing time at this resort. The only thing I would say is the beach front is a little bit rocky, but otherwise 5 stars!

Best hotel Ive been to by far!

Will definitely be back soon! Golden birthday will be back! This hotel was so beautiful! It was clean too. I enjoyed the animals around the resort. The food and drinks was absolutely amazing as well! Will recommend to friends. Everyone was super friendly!

Just loved it!!

I had read previous reviews and a lot of people complAined about how far the beach was because the hotel is so big but honestly this hotel was just absolutely perfect!! From the food to the staff to the room. One of my favorite things was the taco stand next to the pool. There are little carts to take you around the hotel where you need to go, we would just walk sometimes. You can't complain when you're in paradise. We will be back for sure

Location: Lots of things- you could go parasailing, visit the Tulum ruins, swim with the Dolphins and also go sailing on the catamaran.
I got upgraded to the Platinum Sunset section. It was well worth it. The concierge were very attentive. There was abundance of food and drinks all through the resort. Lots of activities to engage kids if you are travelling as a family. The only thing I'd wish for was that there were better views of the ocean (But nothing can before about that because the resort has been built lol). Most of the resort has garden and pool view you have to walk down to the beach area if you wanna see the beach. All in all, it was a good experience.

Peaceful and beautiful

This Resort was amazing ! Stayed on a Villa and also had a Platium suite both were great. Staff above and beyond, had 24hr concierge get food and dessert or whatever you need to your room in minutes ! Used Dry Cleaners Service get cloth back in few hours. Must have private dinner on the beach at Chill Out its with reservation only ! , but excelent and a few feet from water away from anyone., having this dinner will give you free access to Chill Out the rest of your stay for free, this includes drinks and private beach . Restaurant are Ok but not amazing , I would not bother with the Italian restaurant Mama Mia , Vaquerias 1 was good specially the provolone cheese a must.The resort grounds are amazing , statues , fountains, animals, pools , shops , just great ! Night club in resort very nice .Cannot be beat for the money , great place and staff makes it even better , great Job Princess !!

Nice hotel closer to the beach

Pros: Large pools. Nice beach. Good updated rooms.
Cons: check-in service. enforcing pool rules.
This is a huge resort and all the restaurants are located near the lobby. So expect long walk if you are near the beach. Rooms were nice, but there were not enough pool chairs with shade for everyone. A lot of people reserve pool chairs the night before and staff was not removing those items at night. There is no point having a rule saying that you can't reserve chairs if you are not enforcing it?

Fun spot to bring friends or loved ones

Cons: Food. Better Alcohol options
Second time here with my wife and 2 friends. Had a great time again. To maximize your fun if your into pool sports make sure to bring your own volleyball or other fun items as these are sparce throughout the day. The bartenders and waitstaff are always pleasant and accomodating. My 2 complaints this time would be the fact that my wife and I asked for a king bed and we ended up with 2 full sized beds and the food on the beach and non restaurant was definately not as good as the last time we visited. This being said the burgers/dogs were edible and filled us but that was about it..... Although I listed some negatives the resort on the whole was a great experience and we met a lot of new friends that we still talk to. HAve fun!!
