Nice hotel, close to the beach

Pros: The large pool. Proximity to the ocean
Cons: The hotel needs maintenance, its showing its age. I had to make several calls to fix problems with my room. The quality of food has deteriorated.
Location: Nearby shopping.
Overall, my experience at the hotel was good. Its an adult hotel and is very quiet. Very little activity.

Amazing getaway!

This was our first all-inclusive vacation and let me tell you the bar is set high!! From the minute you walk in the front door you are treated like royalty. The pool is so relaxing and perfect temperature. Hotel is so clean and the staff is great! All of the food is delicious--you won't go hungry! The only thing that made me a bit sad is that they do not make towel animals, but room service does clean every day, twice a day.

Lovely Stay at Iberostar Grand Hotel Paraiso

The staff was extraordinary - they consistently went out of their way to make sure all was perfect. Daniel from the spa gave a wonderful massage on the beach - I highly recommend! Galo and Ely always made sure your drinks were full and Ricardo was always helpful both at the pool and beach.

Great resort!

Pros: food staff beauty of the resort and beach
Location: Saw Cirque du Soleil "Joya"
We stayed at Iberostar Grand Paraiso for the 2nd time, and have also been to Iberostar Grand Rose Hall in Montego Bay, Jamaica, twice. The Grand Paraiso is awesome! The food is great! The chef offered to make me chicken soup, as I was battling a cold. The Japanese restaurant has especially great food, as well as room service! All of the customer service is great! The housekeeping, servers, bar tenders, all are friendly and helpful. Erich was a great instructor at the Boot Camp work out, as well as Oscar, as yoga instructor. You can do as much as you want or as little as you want. The beach was gorgeous; much less seaweed than last year. We enjoyed our ocean front room. The only negative about the room would be the shower water temp frequently fluctuated from hot to cold on it's own. We only attended 2 shows in the evening, as we had seen them last year and simply had a hard time staying awake until 10 pm, as we are normally on EST. I highly recommend Iberostar resorts. I hope to return in the future.

We had a great vacation the resort is beautiful. The staff is there best asset. The food is excellent. The beach is OK. However they charge extra for things like the prestige club where other resorts don't. you pay enough for an ocean front room the prestige club should come with it. We have been to other resorts of the same quality that cost a thousand dollars less. So I don't think we will be back to Iberostar.

Fantastic vacation

We loved everything about our stay. The hotel is gorgeous and so immaculate. The staff are the most friendly and courteous I have ever encountered. They treat you like royalty! The food in the Italian and Surf n Turf is top notch! Can't wait to return!

Great resort

Wife and I booked our vacation here after having stayed at one of the other Iberostar resorts twice before. This was our 20th anniversary and when we told them on check in we were upgraded to a beach front room! Very nice place. Everything was very clean, shows were fun, bartenders were generous and everyone was really friendly. Thanks for a great stay!

Paradise!!!!!

Pros: The resort was beautiful but what makes this hotel stand out is all the staff that is there to make your visit wonderful.
Cons: Can not improve perfection!!!!
Location: The resort has so many things to do within the property all you need is right there.
From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. This resort is unbelievable. The staff were awesome! I can not find words to expresses how impressed we were with this resort! The staff went out of their way to make our vacation excellent. Can not wait to go back!!!!!!!

Beautiful hotel and grounds.

The food was a 9 out of 10. The drinks were a 5 out of 10 and they were week. Staff was great. Beach was great. Pool chairs were in short supply. The "welcome package-breakfast" took all day and was deceptive,
