Location: Muy bien ubicado, tan solo a 30 minutos de Cancun en auto
Es nuestra segunda estadía en este hotel. Siempre es un hotel que cumple con las expectativas, pero encontramos que le faltaba un poco de mantenimiento. El personal siempre es super amable. Tuvimos un accidente con nuestro hijo y estuvieron muy atentos a todas nuestras necesidades.

Nice family resort.

Kids loved all the pools and activities that were going on. My only dislike is that you can't see the ocean from the pools.

Beautiful Resort, friendly staff, delicious food

Absolutely enjoyed our stay at Iberostar Paraiso Lindo. It's a gorgeous resort, right on a sandy white beach. The staff was very attentive and helpful. We've made reservations for dinners at both Paraiso Lindo and its sister resorts and loved the food at all of them, except ironically the Mexican restaurant. Some reviews mentioned that the water in the pool was too cold. That was not the case when we were there (May); the water was warmer than in the ocean. I'd highly recommend this resort.

LIGHTS OUT

Hotel staff was great but not 5 stars because it's about the same as all other Mexican resorts I've stayed. Great hotel if you have children between ages 4 to 8. Drop off your kids at the kids club and it's like free babysitting service. Food was the same everyday...nothing special, nothing different. Room service is the worst ever! It is not difficult to get rsvp at the restaurants but the time may not suit you because the availability is mostly after 8:30pm. You'll be too exhausted to eat after being in the sun all day. While we were there, we experienced a power outage for a few hours in the afternoon and a few hours in the evening and during the middle of the night. It was definitely a big disappointment. This is something you want to consider if they try to sell you their timeshare which they will. There's 5 buildings in Lindo (50, 51, 52&53, 54 & 55) and I stayed in building 54... not too far from the main lobby and not too far from the beach neither (see pic). I'm glad I stayed in this building because I was always walking towards the main lobby/main buffet restaurant (La Pagoda). The lazy river is not all that great! You see people swim, walk, run, snorkel by while you're moving along through the tiny lazy river. The beach was crowded everyday. There's always activities there and they also serve lunch there which was great because you don't have to walk anywhere. Make sure you try the piette, Spanish rice, made fresh on the beach @ 1:15 everyday.

We are so happy to hear that our entertainment activities, the kids club and buffet at the beach were the highlights during your stay. Regarding the food, we would like to mention that we have many options for our guests to have dinner: 7 options of restaurants a la carte: Mexican, Cajun, Steakhouse, Seafood, Gourmet, Japanese, Italian and one main buffet with different themes each night: International, Oriental, Spanish, Caribbean, Italian, etc. For breakfast and lunch, we have two buffet restaurants with many options for our guests and also we have a snack bar on the beach. On the other hand, we deeply regret the inconveniences you had during the power outage. We would like to emphasize that this was an isolated problem which our Maintenance staff did all within reach to make it right as soon as possible; this is definitely not an experience that we want our guests expect of us. As part of our customer care, the concierge team did their best trying to mend that issue; we regret you had left our hotel with a bad image of us. Everything was wonderful except the dining services. We couldn't make dinner reservations because everything was booked. Buffet had the same food everyday!!!

Nice hotel

Just returned back. Nice hotel. Beach is a bit far away - the issue is not the walk, but it is just far from the pool area. Overall good value.
