Great hotel

Nice all inclusive hotel. There are no hidden fees or charges. Spa and motorized sports as well as excursions are excluded, but that was expected. The hotel rooms are spacious and the balconies off the rooms are great. We even saw monkeys hanging out in the trees from our room.

Family vacation

Our stay at iberostar was excellent! We had our first family vacation, the staff was super nice and friendly. the rooms were clean, pools were nice and clean. They have staff walking around the pool area picking up dirty cups and keeling the area clean. My nephews had a great time in the pool and playing games. The nightly shows are fun for the whole family. The place is beautiful!

Great location

Hotel is beautiful, however the beds are horrible. Staff was great, however if you speak with a concierge (ROBERTO) and you refuse to do a timeshare meeting he will literally change his personality from super nice to super rude...at first he will be your best friend and when you say no he will pawn you off the the lobby staff for any additional needs. I hope the hotel addresses that issue. Overall experience was great aside from that issue.

Great beach, very nice rooms, great pools and grounds. Very good food especially the specialty restaurants. Lots to see and do. The hotel staff are very friendly.

Family vacation place

Loved the jungle area between Tucan and Quetzal sides. We saw monkeys and peacocks there. Beautiful beach. Food was good but it got old. Would have liked to have been able to eat at nice restaurants more than twice. Scuba staff was wonderful! We had noise at night from the hotel nextdoor. No night club at hotel. Good family atmosphere and very safe!! We walked to marketplace twice.

Not staying at any Iberostar any more

The service was horrible, from the receptionist to the service in the restaurants, the food was not good, almost same thing everyday, but really the worst to me was the service, every morning at breakfast I had to serve coffee or water myself because I kept asking the servers but they don't care. Few months ago I stayed at the Grand Porto and I was treated totally different with respect and always asking if there was anything else I needed so I was expecting the same but I was wrong
