Mexican hospitality

Posted Aug 30, 2015
From the check in to the check out we were treated like foreign cousins coming to visit family in Mexico, what a wonderful feeling, the vibe the smiling faces nothing too much to ask , the breakfast was incl ofvthe rate and they even invited us to the first one since we arrived quite early. The Spanish restaurant for dinner was also very selfish.thank you for your passion @ Pasion!

Charming Modern Boutique Hotel

Posted Aug 10, 2015
Our stay was amazing. My partner and I stayed for 5 nights at this amazing place for our honeymoon. Such attention to detail. The staff was always available and friendly. They even knew our names. Very close to all of the happenings on 5th. I would never stay anywhere else in Playa. What a wonderful experience. Thank you!

Fantastic honeymoon getaway...

Posted Aug 4, 2015
Pros: The staff is as friendly and genuine as any that you will find. The hotel itself is clean, affordable, nice pools, excellent location.
Cons: Nothing needs improvement. Excellent stay.
Location: 5th avenue or the main tourist district is not very far away. The beach is literally right down the street. Walmart is nearby. It's a safe area.
La Pasion was a really enjoyable experience for my wife and I. The hotel staff was consistently polite, friendly, and helpful. They were quick to answer questions, offer suggestions, and provide us with items such as a clothes iron during our stay. The room was plenty spacious and the bathroom was just right. Housekeeping did a wonderful job maintaining a high level of cleanliness in our room and around the hotel. There isn't very much noise in this area since it is a few blocks from 5th avenue. However, the location was ideal - we comfortably walked to dining establishments, the beach, and there is a Walmart right up the street in case you want to stock up on some items. There is an Oxxo (convenience mart) right beside the hotel. The free breakfast was so good at the adjoining restaurant (El Tapas) that my wife and I ate there every morning. They bring fresh fruit (watermelon, cantaloupe, papaya) and offer a wide range of food options from taquileras and enchiladas to pancakes. The coffee is quite good - especially the cappuccino. The hotel was so serene that it felt like our own private paradise. Much different than an all-inclusive experience where there is constant foot traffic and noise. We really felt like we could relax here. We made a day trip to Tulum, Coba, and a cenote for a reasonable price after consulting Pepe. It was definitely worth it and was an experience we will never forget. In sum - awesome staff, beautiful hotel, and just perfect.

Nice hotel, nice staff

Posted Aug 2, 2015
Pros: Staff Pools
Location: Very good located Visit Mayan ruins (Chichen Itza, Tulum, Cobá) Beaches and cenotes Adventure parks (Xcaret, Río Secreto, Xel-ha...)
The hotel is very well located at Playa del Carmen, close to the 5th Ave, but perfect to sleep without noise. It is also close and easy to go to other places (Tulum, aventure parks, cancún, cenotes, etc). The staff is very nice and they helped us to organize the tours during our stay. They serve free wine and pastries in the afternoon. The hotel has two pools and one jaccuzzi. Overall, we had a good stay.

tolle Mitarbeiter&hervorragender Service

Posted Jul 29, 2015
LAura from Germany

Great location in Playa!

Posted Jul 18, 2015
Pros: Both restaurants ( a Spanish place and a Venuzelan place ) adjoining the hotel were good and very affordable. The hotel staff was awesome.
Location: You can walk everywhere. Beach, 5th Street with all the bars and shops, and there are tons of small restaurants everywhere.
This is a great place to stay at if you don't want to end up in one of the usual tourist traps. Staff was great, room was clean, price was very reasonable, what else could you ask for. I would recommend getting a room facing the pool / courtyard as opposed to the street.

great value and location!

Posted Jul 17, 2015
Pros: It was clean. I liked that it wasn't right on the strip but was close enough to walk to it.
Cons: There was a strange smell from the bathroom. But I think most hotels have that problem due to the poor drainage/sewer system.
Location: This was my favorite thing about the hotel. it was walking distance to nice/affordable restaurants that weren't filled with backpackers/tourists.
This place was wonderful. It's away from the chaos of the main strip but within walking distance from it! There's a couple of really nice and affordable restaurants right next door. The hotel/rooms are really clean and the free breakfast is fabulous. The staff is really friendly and welcoming.
