Beautiful beach and private jacuzziPosted Jul 26, 2015
Pros: Facilities, private jacuzzi, very clean, good beach, right next to dolphin center.
Cons: Reception staff; first day was fine but second day a different staff member was not attentive at all.
Location: Nice beach - and swimming with dolphins!
Very nice luxury hotel with reasonable price. Excellent facilities, clean beach while Tulum was covered in seaweed. Breakfast was alright, not special. I liked the swimming pool bar.

Good resort, lovely beachPosted Jul 24, 2015
Cons: Service Breakfast Staff training
Location: good coastline
This was the last stop on our trip around Mexico. Unfortunately it was the most disappointing. Throughout the trip we stayed at 3* hotels whilst this was a 4* resort, therefore there was a greater expectation. The service was not great and mistakes were often made when taking our order. Breakfast was disappointing, providing few options compared to all the other hotels which costed considerably less. Furthermore to get the attention of the staff was another issue who often seemed to be confused. I would not recommend

Touristy hotel, overpriced restaurantPosted Jul 18, 2015
Pros: Room was clean
Cons: Better pool, maintain cleanliness of pool
Location: Dolphins nearby but expensive
Disappointed. We thought it would be relaxing but screaming kids and tourists at the bar made it average can't swim in beach there due to the seaweed.

Very Comfortable, Boutique HotelPosted Jun 29, 2015 on Hotels
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Omni. The hotel was immaculate and meticulously maintained. The bed was very comfortable; upscale linens. the bath is very nice. The food was first rate. The staff was very gracious and took great pride in their work. I highly recommend the Omni Puerto Aventuras.

Best hotel I've ever stayed atPosted Jun 10, 2015 on Hotels
I have been on a lot of vacations all over the world, and I have never experienced such awesome and friendly service as I did at the Omni! We went during the start of the off season (early June 2015), and I am pretty sure there was more hotel staff than guests. Every single employee was so friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean, service at the bar and restaurant were quick, and everything we ate was very fresh. Plus, the prices of the food and drinks were very reasonable. My room overlooked the dolphin park which was a wonderful treat to watch them swimming while sitting in the hammock! I can't wait to go back. It was so awesome.

Love this placePosted Jun 9, 2015
Pros: THE MAGIC BOX.... I can't praise this enough, I have been raving about this aspect of the hotel for over a decade :)
Cons: Honestly, I know it's the most difficult thing to improve, but the beach is the only thing I can suggest that I would like to see in better condition.
Location: The marina is great.. you can swim with the dolphins and/or just watch them play over dinner and drinks at local restaurants.
My spouse and I spent our honeymoon at this Omni over a decade ago, and it was just PERFECT!!! So you can imagine that we were beyond excited to have another opportunity to return and enjoy this little slice of paradise. Our Honeymoon 2.0 was great. Although we knew we couldn't possibly expect things to have remained unchanged, we were pleasantly surprised with many of the renovations and upgrades to the facilities..however, we were extremely saddened that the beachfront was no longer the pristine beach we once enjoyed... it had almost completely changed due to hurricanes in the years since so we understood that so I will confess I spent a lot less time on the beach this time around. The "magic box" at this hotel is by far my favorite amenity here and the hotel should definitely "utilize and promote" it more. The pools are great, but any resort will have a pool, but they won't have a "magic box." The staff is great... very attentive and considerate- VERY thoughtful. From the room cleaning to the jacuzzi bar attendants, it is evident that everyone on staff takes great care and pride maintaining this little gem in Puerto Aventuras. It is for this reason alone that we plan to return again someday.
