Great vacation, better hotel management needed

We had such an amazing time, I was extremely pleasantly surprised with such a high quality gym, and the spin classes – so much fun and great workout too, cannot thank enough Enrique and rest of fitness staff.
And the weather couldn’t be more perfect, the beach and ocean nice and clean, staff very attentive…
But b/c of two major flaws that this resort has - I would probably never repeat my stay.
#1: when I buy Adults-only vacation, I expect to be surrounded by adults, makes sense?? Imagine my disappointment (read: was sooo pissed) when I saw and heard annoying and screaming kids running around. There’s a ‘sister’ resort right next to La Perla, sharing most of the property, and all the restaurants. Yes – even the two dinner restaurants that are ‘supposedly’ exclusive for adults, nope, there were families with kids every night (Bana and Fuego). And not to mention lunch buffet – that is totally shared with families with kids, and of course parents wouldn’t even bother to discipline the kids!
The beach also supposedly has ‘adults only’ area – no, not really…
Management must do much better job restricting kids access, and definitely have separate lunch buffets for adults and for families.
#2: the food wasn’t that gourmet, we would expect better variety at lunch (was nothing fancy, almost same every day…) Last year we stayed at Valentin, and they had us spoiled by variety of sushi at lunch buffet, amazing soups, etc... Dinner food wasn’t impressive either, not comparable with what
