Very quiet and one does not hear the noise from 5th Ave. Large space. Staff was responsive to fix a issue with the water. Lots of animals. Raccoons, possums, coatis, running around the area.

the garden balcony, lots of space in the apartment. the mini oven could use an upgrade, laundry machines very useful, AC worked great, friendly and helpful staff. the pool was great, quiet, my family were the only ones in the pool most of the time. the hammocks were great. rooftop patio was also nice, close to 5th ave but not loud (garden facing). close to the beach. room cleaners were great. highly recommend, hope to come back sometime.

This was a great place for our family to stay for a couple days, but only a couple day. It has a great location right on 5Th ave, bring ear plugs the music goes all night. The pool was cold but clean. The staff was helpful, friendly and eager to please. The penthouse unit was nice, roof top deck was great. The kitchen left something to desire but functional. There is a grocery store abt a block away, beach just down the road and all the shops and restaurants right on your door step. Just as advertised.

Basically just a room, no coffee pot,no room service. Just the nessicity to sleep. Staff is very nice and friendly. They are very happy to assist you. Right on a very busy street.

The bungalows were amazing. They were spacious, had fully equipped kitchens, thebporch area with hammocks large and relaxing with pario furniture, the decor and thatched roofs were perfect touches. It had lush gardens, a terrific pool, and parking. It was literally steps away, maybe 100 yards from the main avenue yet quiet inside the bungalows. The beach was only 5 mins away. It was a safe and will lit area of town with convenience stores 2 min walking distance and cab posts.

Horrible experience. Do not book!
I had so many problems at this hotel. I do not understand how it has such good reviews. First, the room we were given was not the room that was booked or as described in the booking. Next, the television in the room was broken and there was no hot water. We complained and eventually the TV and water were fixed. Hotel also has a bad insect problem. I had flying ants and other insects swarm into the room every night from openings in the bathroom. I complained about this but no attempt was made to resolve it and no other rooms were available. The power for the hotel also went out a few times during my stay. I attempted to obtain a refund for the stay but it was refused by hotel management. I wasted to many hours of my vacation dealing with issues with my room.

Although this property is very pretty and surrounded by gardens it has many issues. The air conditioner was not cold and rattled. The bed was as hard as a rock. It had a thatched roof which racoons tried to break through one night and kept us all awake. Also 5th Avenue is right down the block so you hear music and drunk people yelling all night. Not relaxing at all.

The staff was very nice, specially Ms. Silvia. She cleaned our room and made an elephant out of towels. I will definitely stay there next tome I go to playa del Carmen.

We stayed in one of the bungalows at Riviera Maya and it was wonderful. Easy walk to the grocery store for anything you need. Beaches and restaurants nearby as well. Staff was attentive and friendly. All around great experience. Would definitely stay there again.

This is a beautiful hotel in a very secluded area. It was a pleasant surprise! Everything was clean and new. The staff was wonderful and cery accomodating. I highly recommend it

The bed was very hard, the couch was tiny and uncomfortable, and the bedroom did not have a tv. The location was excellent and secure parking. A basic condo, pool was shady and hot tub was luke warm. Staff was helpful and front desk was informative. Overall not worth the money but live and learn.

The room is very comfy and clean. The service was very efficient and the people kind. The location is very good, the stores and places to eat are very close at walking distance, including access to the beach. It is a kind of noisy because the places around, but nothing bothers me.

I loved how much the hotel offers as far a the room. It even comen with laundry detergent & fabric softener. They re-fill it too. It’s close to la 5ta Avenida.the rooms are great . I had a view to the trees third floor very breezy. Had a good time in the evening in the hammock. The personal was very attentive. When we requested for shampoo. The mattress could use an update. And there is no conditioner. Other that that I recommend this hotel. Oh yeah the kitchen is very well equipped.

We stayed in a bungalow and it was the way to go. We loved having what felt like our own little place in the jungle. Our favorite feature was the hammocks on the patio. We spent many hours there just enjoying some relaxation time. The property was beautiful. The kitchens were well equipped with what you needed. There were tons of walkable shops nearby to grab some food or groceries if you wanted to cook in the room. Our only negative note - from where our bungalow was, we had a lot of street noise - late-night partiers, beeping trucks, construction noises. It was very noisy at times, but not enough to ruin the experience. At night the booming music from the beach clubs, local bars etc could get annoying, but they usually only went till about midnight or so. Overall we had a wonderful time and it was just what we needed!

Riviera Maya suites is a beautiful little oasis in Playa del Carmen. The property is absolutely beautiful with lush vegetation and some wildlife if you’re lucky enough to see them. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. This is a gem in the nicer northern end of Playa.

Our stay at the Riviera Maya Suites was amazing. The staff were wonderful. We were greeted with a warm welcome and made to feel at home. Manuel at the front desk was most kind and helpful and took care to ensure we had everything we needed. The lush garden setting was a sanctuary in the midst of a bustling city. The landscaping was gorgeous, the rooms comfortable and impeccably clean. We were close to all the activity of Quinta Avenida but able to come back to our condo to relax in a secluded setting. The pool was lovely and the rooftop solarium has some of the best views of anywhere we have traveled. We enjoyed that the Riviera Maya Suites still has some of the classic vibe with wide terraces and balconies so that even if there is a sudden downpour, we could sit outside and enjoy the sound of the rain. Jimmy and Coco the resident cats were our little buddies during our stay as well. The kitchen has almost all the supplies needed and the rooms are very spacious. I would definitely return to stay here and truly wish I had more than a week to visit. Choose a garden view apartment for the most seclusion from the street. This place is a refuge in the heart of everything - just a few minutes walk to the beach and all the activity of the main drag. Thank you for such a ideal experience!

Cleaning services provided everyday during the stay . Front desk staff were excellent addressing any needs . Quick access to local beach and amenities. Good location tucked down a side street. Only draw back was that it was noisy at night but understandable given the proximity of the beach bar and other venues. Would recommend this accommodation.

Great staff: super friendly and professional. I am not too keen on Playa Del Carmen and how busy and touristy it is. The hotel is tucked in and not directly on the 5th Avenue but the area just did not work for me.
