Fast checkin. Quite location. Walking distance from all shopping and dining. Will be returning in the future.

Ok hotel

It was okay. I was not impressed that they allowed young ladies to lay out by pool with tback bathing suits and young children around. Also came down last day of trip and was in front of the hotel and ladies of the night were coming out of hotel. Also ask for help on transportation from desk no help. Then phone rings at 7a.m. to tell me shuttle was there to pick us up.

BAD ALL TOGETHER ,WAS GOOD WHEN IT WAS HOLIDAY INN

Pros: NOTHING , I USED TO ALWAYS BOOK THIS HOTEL WHEN I VISIT PLAYA DEL CARMEN , WHEN IT WAS NAMED AS HOLIDAY INN , I GIVE 5 STAR WHEN IT WAS OWNED BY H INN
BAD A/C , BAD BREAKFAST , BAD STAY , HAD TO CHANGE ROOM LIKE 2 TIMES IN 2 DAYS OF STAY DUE TO THE AIRCON BAD AND THE BLOWER WAS MAKING TOO MUCH NOISE ........

Pros: The hotel was ok.
Cons:
There were 17 of us and a member of the group had her purse stolen from the back of her chair while she was having breakfast it kind of woke us up.The hotel called in the police and they looked at the film.

Good, clean, with friendly helpful staff.

The ground transportation was not familiar with the name since it was formerly a Holiday Inn. They were about a mile from the Ferry which was a little hard to walk. The facility did not have a handicap access to the courtyard or the grounds where an evening buffet was offered. However the staff assisted with moving the wheel chair and helping down the one step to the ground level in the pool area. They also offered to bring food from the buffet to avoid another step. The desk was not able to convert US $ to pesos, nor to change a $20 bill to $1,s for tipping. They said at check in that breakfast was included which was a surprise. When we had breakfast and asked the cashier if we were good when showing our wrist band, She nodded. We were chased down by the waiter whom I previously tipped, and were told we needed to pay a bill. This was quite embarrassing -- a failure to communicate. As a result I would rate this GOOD but NOT GREAT.

Pros: The hotel itself was clean and the maid/cleaning service had our room stocked with towels, water and beds made daily.
Location:
The hotel was surprisingly clean and the staff was very courteous.
