Bathtub still had hair in it. Breakfast was granola bars and muffins in very, very small checkin area and muffins were gone by the time we got there at 8:00. Room was old and dated.

We're really rating Expedia, which is horrible

We were booked through Expedia, promised a room with 2 queen beds, had our card charged, and got there and there was no room available with 2 queens. In the meantime, the hotel staff was unable to reach Expedia, and said they're always put on hold for up to an hour—even though they have a "special" number to call. In the past we've liked Extended Stay America, and again, we're not rating the hotel, but our experience with Expedia.

Ramshackle in Roanoke

Took a deposit for $250 to prevent smoking yet the room clearly had been a smoking room for years. That did it for me. I am very sensitive to breathing in smoky air.

Useful location

Cons: WIFI
The hotel staff were very good and the hotel in a good location with good facilities except the Wifi. Having stayed in a few Extended stay hotels recently in VA and NC they all suffer from the safe inconsistent WIFI a throw back to years ago as to how it use to be. It certainly needs an major overhaul and I was only try to get a web browser not download movies or anything demanding.

Hotel rooms have kitchens, but no utensils, or pots, etc to use at all the kitchenette. No hair dryers in rooms, no hangers in closets. Offer indicates a Free Continental Breakfast.. however there was only coffee and Grits! Honestly, this was very disappointing.. I booked at this facility because of the free breakfast.

When I arrived I went to the room number they gave me the key wouldn't work after going up all them stairs , I went back to get another key for another room the room wasn't cleaned up from previous guest , finally after going to the 3rd room I was just drained after working all day but y overall stay & comfort for the price was good
