Worst hotel I have ever stayed in!

Pros: The woman at the counter was very friendly and courteous and very helpful.
Cons: Shutting it down, because the manager thinks there is nothing wrong with it!
Location: Tunica is a lot of fun if you like casinos. And the restaurants and buffets are great!
When I entered the hotel I was very impressed by the way it looked and especially by the friendliness and courtesy of the woman working at the desk. She made me feel like I had just walked into the home of a friend. Even after my later experience with the hotel, she showed more concern over my concern about my stay than the motel owner who was trying to explain to me how wrong I was about my problem! I was going to the casinos and I didn't get back to the hotel until after 1 am. I was very tired and just wanted to go to sleep, but the bed was so hard that it difficult and I had to take some medication to allow me to sleep. When I woke up, my back hurt and that was Sunday morning; it is still hurting me this morning and it's now Monday. And all they had was those small, square pillows that are about the size of my head and I kept rolling off of them and waking up throughout the night. When I got up in the morning and went to get a shower, the shower switch, that is in the nozzle, would not turn the shower on! I am 6' 3" tall and I don't fit into tubs very well. Add to that; I am a disabled vet and it is very hard for me to get down on the floor and getting down in that tub was even worse! When I got back up, my knees felt like someone had stabbed me and I didn't even get washed because the water wouldn't come over the my body. It was the worse night I had ever spent in a Hotel! When I spoke to the manager, all he did was tell me I was wrong about it!

Good hotel

I had a great stay. I checked in a tad early and the rooms weren't yet available. The nice lady at the desk didn't stop until she had a room for me though. I appreciated that. The room was clean though a tad worn. Internet was a big issue with my other nights stay elsewhere in the area. This hotel had a professional net service and seemed very stable and strong. I liked that as well. Recommended.

Staff was pleasant. No air conditioning in the saving floor hallways. Air was turned off on the thermostat and the inside temp was 90. Rooms need a makeover. Very early 90's decor and tvs. No movie channels. Needs new paint to cover the water satin and just general little things. Room said it was 2 queen mattress but I would say they are closer to full than queen. WiFi is there but not the best. No elevator in a hotel that size is crazy.

Think twice about Quality Inn location.

Not much quality in this Quality Inn... The hallway smelled of smoke and mildew. The room was not very appealing, carpet was a bit sticky, the comforter had cigarette burn holes and didn't smell clean. bathroom sink is falling to the right and separating from the wall.
