I was disappointed in this branch of Country Inn's

Pros: The woman who checked me in was very pleasant.
Cons: The whole hotel needs to be updated and cleaned.
Location: It was only a mile from the Cheesecake Factory and about 15 minutes from a very nice mall.
I chose this hotel because I needed a hotel for just this one night and all other hotels that I have previously stayed at were either sold out or their rooms prices were unaffordable. I have stayed at another Country Inn and have enjoyed it so I assumed this one would be very similar. I did not like the location and I didn't like that it wasn't near what I am used to. I go to Rochester because my son is a student at RIT and this hotel was too far from the school and all of the stores and restaurants by the school.

A Quiet, Comfrotable Place to Sleep

We spent four nights at Country Inn & Suites. The facility was well maintained for the most part. The staff was helpful, courteous and engaging. There was almost no noise from other guests or outside the hotel so we slept well after busy days out and about Rochester. The hotel was in a great location for us being half way between the airport and Park & East Ave. where we spent most of our time. We will stay there again. Oh, and the breakfast was fine, too.

Good Stay

The room was clean, comfortable and a good size. Breakfast foods were convenient and adequate. Wish the room was more sound-proof, could hear noise from neighboring rooms and hallway.

great place to relax

Pros: Convenient, clean, good staff.
Cons: Update furniture
Location: Monroe Ave is full of shopping and restaurants. Lots of choices set between the city and suburbs only minutes to do or see anything
We stayed there because I am chronically ill and was changing apartments. The beds were comfortable, room was clean, staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was clearly weathered. Furniture was scuffed up, bedspread showed signs of use. Certainly didn't effect our stay. Skip the breakfast, it's not very good. This place served our purposes well, and I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

Okay, but not impressed!

We were disappointed to find out that the continental breakfast is only open until 9:30 a.m. during the week, even on holiday (Good Friday). Also, the walls are not very sound proof - could hear the muffle sound of the TV next door, and only 3 pillows per bed:(

Just gross. Make a little more upscale!

I walked into the building and was not even spoken to by the hotel front desk, but whatever. Three unhappy guests interrupted me while I was checking in to complain about no cable and this and that, while I was checking in. I figured wow they got a bad room. I was in a normal room 2 beds ... Confused why the room smelled so poorly. I immediately wanted to watch Tv, which was not connected to cable. Luckily I know how to fix such issues, so I didn't bother calling for help. There is no room service ... and no phone in the room to call for extra towels. I went into the bathroom, it looked clean until my foot stuck yo the floor next to the shower and I noticed the bottom of the shower was filthy. I then saw a family of spiders in the bathroom. I decided to leave the hotel, upon exiting there was no hotel staff at the front desk so I proceeded to walk out the front door someplace else. I'll never stay here again worst $100 I ever gave away!

Cleanest hotel in the Rochester area . . .

We have stayed at every level of hotel in the Rochester area. This hotel is clean, comfortable, and provides everything you need for a stay, including breakfast. I dont normally write reviews, but I have been so happy with my stays at this hotel I am willing to recommend it. When staying at a hotel, Cleanliness is the most important thing going for me; that is why I rate this hotel so high. I hope this review helps someone. Good Luck.
