Very close to colonial building at mayo

Posted Feb 18, 2017
Colonial building is a simple walk across the street. Room was clean, quiet and in a great spot with prime parking .

The is really nothing special about this place

Posted Jan 26, 2017
There is really nothing special about this place except it's across the street from the Mayo Clinic. Great for that convenience and reasonable price.

Pros: Closeness to Mayo. Outdoor parking. (I own a van)
I really appreciate the closeness to the clinics. I can then park in the lot the next day and not worry about moving my vehicle.

Very disappointing stay

Posted Nov 23, 2016 on Hotels
Rooms were very small. The shower leaked badly in one room and the front desk was unable to assist. Said it would be fixed first thing in the morning,it wasnot,I got a seal and repaired the leaking shower myself. Very unsatisfactory room and service

convenient location for mayo clinic appointment

Posted Nov 23, 2016
Pros: 1 block to skyway/Mayo Clinic
Cons: Beds could be updated
Location: Nice casual restaurant in building, close to other options(short walk)
Hotel was what I expected, an older building. Much lower price than most and very close proximity to medical facilities

Old but inexpensive

Posted Nov 18, 2016
Pros: Cleanliness and friendly staff.
Cons: It was just an old building with old amenities. Maybe snake out the drains so water doesn't collect in the bathtub.
Location: Walking distance from the Mayo clinic.
This is a get what you pay for hotel. It had a rickety old elevator that made creaking noises when you got on. The bathtub had a very slow drain so you were in ankle deep water after your shower. Steam radiators that did pump out the heat. My room didn't look anything like the website. At least it was clean and the staff was friendly. If you're just looking for a bed this place might be ok as it was walking distance from the Mayo. If you're looking to stay a while you may want to upgrade. Most other hotels this close to the Mayo clinic were twice as much so choose what you want price or amenities. The restaurant attached to this hotel had good food.

Very very worn and dated building.

Posted Nov 15, 2016
Pros: Easy access to downtown. Free parking. Friendly staff.
Cons: Simply a disaster. Thread bare carpet everywhere. Shower was make shift. Broken and unusable sink.
Location: Location was good

Beds were not good and no table between, just an unplugged lamp.
