The rooms need an update. Our toilet kept running. The bathroom paint was chipping. The hot water leaked around the sink knob.
The biggest issue was the dog which barked throughout the night and into the morning. We told the staff but the barking continued.
The hotel looks very nice but when I stay at a hotel I do expect a warm shower and a safe parking area, especially when I pay

It was fairly nice but I didn’t realize we wouldn’t have a window to outside. The pool was lovely though and my children liked it. The beds were small!
This is my favorite hotel in the Henrietta area. It is the best hotel I've stayed at when at RIT. The hotel itself is very nice. Rooms as comfortable. The breakfast is great. Close to RIT and shopping. Lots of dining options. Never a problem.
The hotel is clean and in decent condition. Enjoyed having a morning cup of coffee in the lovely atrium. The rooms are minimalistic but clean. Leave yourself plenty of time when taking the elevator, there are only two and they move very slowly.

Reservation flaw
The front desk refused to charge separately or send information on the booking upon arrival, even when the "pay on site" option was taken in the beginning from hotels.com
Called in again to have any information for billing as it was for business travels but nothing was received, unlike what was told over the phone. Basically a pingpong between hotels.com and the hotel itself.
I was unpleasantly surprised at the condition, although the customer service was awesome i was very disappointed with the overall condition of the place, the carpet was odorous, my room door had to be forced shut d/t it sagging, the bathroom vent fan didn't work and the toilet went down very very slow, most times flushing it twice.
Amazing pool and good food. Unfortunately the bed is too small for two people and the bed was not even, had back pain for next day because of the bad bed. Unfortunately the hotel person was not helpful
liked the layout of the atrium areas. Didn't like the parking lot conditions.

The hotel was decent but there was a huge mold problem in the bathroom because it has no ventilation. The front desk staff needs DEI training and Hotels.com needs to better vet their local partner hotels. I was told the rooms booked by hotels.com were not given the same accommodations as if booked directly via the Hilton. I was sorely disappointed.
We loved the DoubleTree! Great location and walkable to many eating establishments. Also the shuttle takes you further if needed! We will definitely stay here again!
