    Contemporary Lakeside house w wall of windows 2 see the lake 30 feet away from home. Very peaceful&relaxing. Enjoy Festivals, Full moon, hiking, 2 sit in the sun, go boating, walk 2 sailing lessons/rent a boat. Golf/tennis nearby. Golf&tennis equipment2loan along w/water tubes&ping pong table if rain not forecast. See below for road trip information. You know the saying: Location is everything. Here's why our location is ideal. 22 -30 minutes to Bristol Ski Mountain/Naples respectively and 2.5 miles to city of sophisticated Canandaigua. Enjoy your stay at this single family 4 season home. (Great rental for 1-2 families since 3rd bedroom*/Suite B is separated by kitchen/living room floor. Suite A is 1468 sf and Suite b is about 534 sf. making about a 2100 sf home plus utility room. If you like waking in the morning sun and sipping coffee/eating alfresco on your own terrace while watching the occasional sailboat race in summer/fall, then this is the place for you. Drive to City of Canandaigua in 5 minutes and eat at one of 45 restaurants intown or take a culinary class/wine tour, shop at our local organic Farmer's Market on Saturdays or hike close by. Love swimming in a clear fresh water lake right off our property next to the house or with a lifeguard 1/4 mile away. (Free use of water tubes, tennis racquet, 2 sets of golf clubs, slalom water ski etc). Then this place is for you. 2 bedrooms 1.5 bath with full kitchen, LR/DR when renting for 1-4 persons. Swimming with a lifeguard down the street or from our property in summer. Lots of festivals nearby. Private Chauffeur to wineries for additional fee. Your pet dog fee is $35/nt/pet/srvc dog - arranged in advance for your pet only. No more than two small dogs permitted. 10% off returning clients in 2019. About 5 minutes to the City of Canandaigua (about 2.5 miles). 3rd bedroom at lake level w/small kitchenette sleeps 5-8 guests and is an extra $200/night unless you paid $575. - bill corrected after booking. We just added a new powder room sink/faucet and new contemporary gas stove/oven combo August 2, 2019. The dishwasher, refrigerator, linens, towels are 1-2 years old. Note: The parking pad is about 13x27 feet. The parking pad fits 2-3 small cars between the home's retaining wall and the road's white line or one large car and 1 small car. Park at your own risk. If you are bringing a truck, you may be able to fit one small car and 1 small truck or SUV. In winter, either 1 small truck/SUV or1 small cars will need to be parked parallel with the retaining wall so that the snow plow will not hit your car. Parking year round is at your own risk. First four people stay in Suite A. Suite B is L shaped and is only available when renting for 5-8 persons. Day guest fee per person ($50/pp) even if not staying overnight and the guest must be registered on VRBO. Note: if you don't reserve/pay for 5-8 persons, the 3rd level bedroom/ - then the house will be about 1500 sf since Suite B will be closed off. Pictures 19-24 are not our home but properties closer by. Suite B pictures start at pic 25 and have multiple views of different angles of the beds. Suite B is at lake level and has a small refrigerator, hot pad, either a toaster oven or toaster, small coffee pot. Only use one appliance at a time in the lower level because if the electrical breaker/fuse blows, you will need to pay the electrician $45 to come and turn that breaker back on. Since it is at lake level, it is naturally cooler and quieter there. Some kosher cups/utensils too etc. Private Sailing, Ski and winter Lessons available sometimes - please inquire. Winter rental rules: *3rd bedroom is unlocked when you pay for 5+ persons. If you are 1-2 persons on the reservation, you are entitled to one bedroom and the master bathroom. If you plan on using the second bedroom in late fall-early spring then please book for 4 persons to pay for the second bedroom and half bath on street level of home - only applicable in winter/late fall and early spring. If you do not rent for 5-8 persons, then the owner may be downstairs in lake level bedroom but you are not apt to see her because she has her own entrance. ROAD TRIP: NYC to Niagara: NYC to Niagara Wanna wonderful northern highlights road trip? Come on up for a 4-5 day whirlwind tour. You should drive about four hours heading to the Corning Glass Museum where you can learn about the history of glass and watch live demonstrations from glass making artists or sign up to make your own glass gift like a glass bead, sanded glass cup or Christmas ornament. Naples and Bristol, NY is your next stop where you can tour and/or taste at the Hazlitt Red Cat Cellars or Heron Hill Winery. Two of my favorite things to do in Naples is the September Grape Festival and theater and music at the Bristol Valley Theater from April – November bvtnaples.org. There is lots of hiking/bicycling on NY and Ontario County parks/trails/roads. Canandaigua, NY is your next stop for 2 nights….Canandaigua is one of the famous Finger Lakes where you can find about 45 restaurants and over 40 places to stay overnight from hotels to lovely lakeside lodges/vacation rentals. You can explore Randall Standish Vineyards to pick/buy fresh grapes/grape juices to enjoy or make into your favorite libations, take a cooking class at NY Kitchens or stroll the gardens/mansions at the Granger Homestead with carriage museum or Sonnenburg Gardens. https://grangerhomestead.org and www.sonnenberg.org). You can paint your own art at the June plein air festival too. (www.fingerlakespleinair.com). November 11th marks the 225th Anniversary of the 1794 Canandaigua Treaty when the US Federal Government signed a sovereignty agreement with the Haudenosaune Confederacy. Visit the Ganondagan Museum and https://ganondagan.org for more information. In Winter, skiing and seasonal hiking is at the Cumming Nature Center or Bristol Mountain Ski Resort and sometimes you can find people fishing on the frozen lake. Spring 2020 opens the Fort Hill Performing Arts Center along with CMAC, Constellation Brands Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center at the Finger Lakes Community College which also hosts lectures too. If Music is still on your mind, then your next stop should be Rochester NY, home to George Eastman Theatre, George Eastman House and Dryden Theater, Eastman School of Music (Kilburn Hall concerts), Fringe Festival in September and the yearly Lilac Festival in May/Rochester International Jazz Festival in June are worth visiting along with the Hochstein, Strong Museum, Geva Theatre and public market too. Niagara is your next overnight destination where you enjoy a visit in any season rain or shine. You can stroll along or under the falls, take a whirlwind boat tour on the Maid of the Mist, enjoy the casinos and many restaurants/hotels. Better yet, take a picnic to the Niagara Falls State Park. Winding down your trip back to NYC, drive about 1.5 hours to Letchworth State Park https://parks.ny.gov/parks/79/details.aspx where you can hike the canyon, see great spring flowers, super fall colors and cross country ski after you stay and dine at the http://www.glenirisinn.com. Reservations recommended there and for the cabins/tent sites. It will be about a 5.5 hour trip back to NYC from there.
