Lovely luxury hotel conveniently located in the ce

Posted Dec 5, 2016
Stayed in a spacious luxury king room complete with corner views, great mattress, in room gas fireplace and soaking tub. Ordered room service from the very good steak house restaurant in the lobby and a well-priced Pinot from their well-curated wine list. Expensive for upstate, but compared favorably with quality and with prices for similar perqs in Manhattan. The only negatives were spotty wifi and a less than stellar breakfast buffet, but these were weaknesses rather than flaws. Recommend highly.

Great Hotel

Pros: The staff was very friendly and interested in making your stay comfortable
Cons: Bathroom had no place to put your items to make it easy dry/styling hair. Mirrors were oddly placed
Location: Several coffee shops and shopping. Very walkable

Long Weekend Visit

Posted Oct 1, 2016
Pros: The rooms are all unique and the decor is very comfortable and homey. We had a fire place but did not need it. The bathrooms are big and clean.
Location: Shopping, Great restaurants and easy access to all areas. We did the Fringe festival and it was walking distance.
The Inn on Broadway is a delight. Great location, facility is outstanding and very charming. We will be back and stay here the next visit. Loved looking at all the old photos and ballroom. The breakfast was a relaxing and welcome treat.

Lovely Inn

Very pleasant surprise in Rochester, NY. The only improvement could be the lobby..it is a bit musty. Otherwise very comfortable and attractive.

Beautiful, old-style inn. The room amenities included a gas fireplace, comfortable bedding, comfy chair w/ottoman, large walk-in shower. A nicely-appointed, spotless room. Staff was wonderful. Fabulous steakhouse and bar on the first floor. Ample parking, close to all.

Luxury meets charm meets wow

Posted Oct 29, 2015
Pros: Short List: Staff was outstanding, rooms were fantastic, beds were ultra comfortable the restaurant was over-the-top amazing!
Cons: The breakfast could have more options, but the food available was great. I am a picky eater so that's a personal opinion.
Location: The location is not too far from downtown and a pretty inexpensive taxi ride to the hotel from the airport.
Where to begin. When you arrive at the hotel, you are immediately met with the feeling of old world charm. The days of men in white-tie and tuxedos and ladies in long flowing 1901 style dress with big hats adorned with feathers. The staff is delightful, polite, and very helpful in every possible way without making you feel like they have to because it's their job. There's a certain pride in their work that you don't see in just any hotel. They'll call you by name, and have everything ready including a KEY with your room number on a brass ring. It's still the early 1900's there after all. :) I think it took all of 4 minutes to check in. NICE. You'll ride up in a quaint elevator, which can easily fit 4 with luggage so don't worry it's not claustrophobic feeling. When you open the door to your room... magnifique! BTW all rooms are slightly different, but very up to date and well appointed for what you need to live in the 21st century during your stay. You still have the old world charm, but the showers are wonderful and the beds are super comfortable! I must admit, it was one of the best nights sleep in a hotel I've had in a long time. Tournedos -The restaurant! the pictures on the website are just a glimpse into the delicacy that awaits you should you make the most intelligent decision of dining in. Wagyu beef and Lobster Tail or ... Ahi tuna and lamb chops?? How does one decide. Try to have a guest who's willing to share (you'll be lucky to get a bite).
