Perfect for Mayo visits.

Pros: Convenience.
Cons: It's all good with Kahler!
Location: Right in the middle of town, across the street from Mayo and shops all around. Rochester is a small city so everything is nearby.
We've stayed with Kahler for the past 5-6 years when we come to Mayo for our annual physicals and healthcare. Expedia pricing was great. We love the hotel, it's convenience to Mayo and the fact that we can be at any of our appointments in 5-10 minutes. The hotel has been recently remodeled and the staff is VERY pleasant!!

Perfect for travelers to Mayo Clinic.

We are repeat customers. Quiet, convenient, comfortable accommodations, and super close to Mayo Clinic. Convenient restaurants on site, and even a Starbucks, too. Walking distance to shopping, local restaurants, and small grocery store.

The water pressure was terrible in the shower. The beds are old and uncomfortable.

Comfortable Hotel close to Mayo Clinic.

We arrived early and had to wait a little bit for our room, but they got us in the room by noon. Room is very clean and has just the right amount of room for our 2 day stay while my wife has testing and doctor visits at Mayo Clinic. Hotel is across street from clinic and close to restaurants. Subway under ground is great for getting around between hotel, clinic, shops and restaurants without having to go outside in the cold.

Location is only reason I would stay there again

Computer issues cause slow check-in. Only reason I was able to check-in the second time I went back was because I had prepaid via Expedia. Others were waiting for hours.

Located across from the mayo Clinic

Pros: The steak restaurant and the location
Cons: rooms are looking run-down.
Hotel has some nice traditional details however the rooms are in need of some repairs and upgrades. A quick walk across the street and you're at the Mayo Clinic. We had our best meal of the week at the steak house restaurant in the hotel.

Nice hotel close to Mayo Clinic

Pros: Proximity to Mayo clinic as well as east of access to the clinic, shops and restaurants.
We stayed at Kahler Grand Hotel because of its proximity to Mayo Clinic. After arriving there, we realized that the location was even better after we discovered we could get to Mayo Clinic, restaurants, coffee shops, stores and many other things without ever going outside. The underground "Subway" is amazing with all the shops and the ability to walk indoors to restaurants and to Mayo Clinic.
