Should be updated

Posted Nov 13, 2015
We booked the room well in advance. Day we are to check in get a call that they are renovating and not on expidia site. To late to change plans. Hotels should be updated on regular basis.

今回、ロチェスター、ハリスバーグ、エルパソを回ったが全てLa Quintaに滞在。 日中仕事で夜寝るだけなら十分に快適だしコストパフォーマンスも高い。 期待していなかったが意外にも清潔で快適。

Currently upgrading

Staff were friendly and attentive. Wifi was limited and I was unable to work on computer when I needed to. The hotel was a great value for the cost. Thank you

What a letdown

Posted Oct 27, 2015
Pros: The beds
Cons: Bigger rooms, no construction, cleaner rooms
Location: Not much to say....it was close to everything
I was told that the hotel had been recently remodeled, however, when I arrived, it was still under a lot of construction. There was dust everywhere. I had to come in through a back door and follow paper signs through construction garbage to get to a room to check in. My room was not cleaned the first day I stayed because the cleaning lady was out sick. I found an old dry donut piece on the floor between the bed and the end stand from the previous boarder.....this left me with a lot of anxiety as to weather or not my sheets were even clean. My daughter went to the front desk for clean sheets and we made our own beds. The one nice thing I can say is the bed was very comfortable....but that is the only good thing. Even the room was tiny...there was 8" from my bed to the wall. I will never stay there again

under construction, 1 employee no lobby

Posted Oct 26, 2015
Pros: the ice machine worked
Cons: everything
Location: some restaurants near by...........no where to have breakfast though if you miss the small set up, squeezed into the fitness room.
under construction its turning into a holiday inn, should be FREE to stay there.... had to go in through some back door down a hallway under construction to a desk in a guest room. the heater in room was noisy and did not work properly. there was no closet in the room,......i think it was a half a room. It appeared that they divided up a room into 2....... get more people in i guess, luckily we got the half with the bathroom.

Construction mess and more

Posted Oct 26, 2015
Pros: The staff
Cons: Close it until the conversion to Holiday Inn Express is done.
Location: The shopping mall is convenient.
It's being converted to another brand and they don't care about the current La Quinta condition. There is no lobby. The front entrance is closed. The entry through the back is a small door where the staff take smoking breaks. The sheets and pillows and are old and worn. The blankets were torn and the TV had no remote. The staff is very nice but the conditions are such that the hotel should be closed now.

Pros: Not too well.
Cons: When renovation is completed, it should improve.
Location: Fair, but too far from local attractions.
It could have been better since this was my first trip to Rochester. Also, Your bumbling on my airplane tickets was humiliating as you put me in economy class from Chicago to Santa Ana after paying for business class and changing from United to American Airlines. When I discussed this with Expedia they wanted over $500 to make the correction, but United not only changed to fly home on United, but first class for $292. Therefore, in the future I will not use Expedia due to your incompetence.

Decent in a pinch

Posted Oct 19, 2015
Pros: Staff was wonderful-I really appreciated them.
Cons: Add some warmth and character to the rooms, fix broken tiles, chipped paint, bugs in light fixtures, etc.
Location: Right next to MCC and near the University of Rochester. Lots of shopping and restaurant options within a 5-10 minute drive.
The hotel is undergoing a renovation, which would have been nice to know (the outside sign is down, so it was super hard to find, especially at night). The rooms have been renovated, which was surprising because they still had broken tiles, chipped furniture, etc. My first room had a problem so they upgraded me to an executive room which was much nicer. The smaller room had painted concrete walls and ceilings, with dim lights- seriously lacking in warmth and charm. However the staff was very attentive in solving the problem with my room, the mattress was comfortable, and the hotel is right off the highway. So decent all around, but this is only a place to pick if you can get a low price. Otherwise there are better options for your money in the area.
