We had a nice 2 day stay at this location, pool was fun for the kiddos to play in. Room was nice and clean. Staff was friendly.

This property was very run down. It needs multiple repairs and deep cleaning done. Stained carpets, curtains and bedding. I wouldn’t recommend this for anyone traveling to the Mayo it’s not a safe or sanitary environment. No front desk staff for any hospitality you may need during your stay. Unfortunately I do not have a positive comment about my stay.

Hot tub and pool were filthy. Hair and some kind of nasty brown stuff collecting in the bottom edges. Tv remote didn’t work even after waiting for over an hour for a new remote. Vending area only had pop and water even tho it’s advertised there are snacks to buy. Double charged for my room. Still waiting for the refund on that.

I loved that it was close enough to downtown Rochester but not actually down town. Staff was helpful when they were present (couldn't always find them). Our room was nice and clean and well cared for. We had a very enjoyable stay!

The room was clean enough. One pillow was stained yellow which was off putting. Our TV didn't work and the staff couldn't fix it. The staff gave off a don't bother us vibe. The morning cook was very friendly and made us feel very welcome though.

In my first two nights I have been switched into four different rooms because something didn’t work that was essential to stay in anyone’s hotel. No wash clothes to wash your body and when you ask for them they want to give you hand toilets. SMH!!! First night was cool until I needed to take a shower. The tub was clogged and you had to was your feet like taking a bath to make sure you weren’t putting back in dirty water. Got a room change for this. Second night, new room the toilet won’t flush and when I told the front desk we don’t know how long before the can get the maintenance man onsite to fix. This is at 11pm at night. So we get another room. Immediately pass because smelled like an ashtray. Now I’m on room number four and the sink stopper won’t open to let the water go down the drain. How do they expected you to wash your hands and face with a sink full of water. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

Couch had big stains & visibly soiled all over. Lampshades & desk chair all broken. Sheets stained. One of the TV’s couldn’t be used with the remote. No one was at desk to check in. Maid passing through tried to find him & it took about 10 minutes.

The front desk staff were never at the front desk and we had to call a number to have someone assist us. The water temperature in our room would not get above cold, not even lukewarm. The continental breakfast was horrible. The only item that was edible was the waffles that you make yourself with premade batter. The pool area needs updating as the a few chairs were ripped and not usable. The “hot tub/jacuzzi” was lukewarm. We won’t be returning.

Do not stay here! We were very disappointed and do not recommend. The staff at check-in was very unprofessional in terms of dress and attitude. For check-out we had to call someone to come to the desk. The breakfast was mediocre. It was very noisy in the room with stomping above us. We couldn't believe that in the entire hotel there was no ice. AT ALL. Ridiculous. Next time we will pay more to stay closer to downtown.

This was one of the nicest La Quinta hotels we have ever stayed at. All of the staff were nice, the pool was warm and clean. Breakfast was good for hotel breakfast. Beds were clean and comfy. Tv selection was good.

Mattress was soft and rolled to the outside. Thermostat didn’t work properly, it mostly blew cold air even tho it was set on heat and I turned it up to 78. Shower chair had broken legs, unable to use it. No towels and washcloths in the bathroom, only 1 little tiny bar of soap for 2 of us to wash our hands and take a shower. No coffee for the in room coffee maker. When I went to the front desk to get what was missing from the room, I was told that they were out of the K cups for the coffee maker, if I wanted coffee I could come to the lobby to get it. The only positive thing about this hotel is the lady that takes care of the breakfast area, she is so nice, a real ray of sunshine! We have stayed at this hotel for many years when we would come to Rochester for my husband’s Mayo Clinic appointments. We haven’t been here for 4 years, we were very disappointed at how much the condition of the hotel and the service we received has changed.

was not ready for 2 hours for check in ,staff went up stairs and partyed did not stay at dest took phone off the hook i called for hours then checked. One guy waited 1 1/2 hours and a couple left . music load,staff doing cannibis in front of the building,condoms laying on the ground with needles. No breakfast when asked staff a question they yelled at you and had bad attitudes. One guy left with a fire arm ,no internet. I will be contacting the police this place needs to be shut down! we had a sick child going to mayo for treatment!

Thank you for your feedback Tamela, although a few of these accusations are far fetched. We have breakfast every single day, our phone does not have a receiver button (it’s an answer button and a hang up button) so the phone being off the hook is not possible, there was no staff partying anywhere upstairs, if someone left with a firearm I’m sure they were legally permitted to carry, the list continues but I apologize you had a bad experience.

The room had a weird smell, the microwave door was filthy. Bathroom vent was full of dust and the door frames were dirty. The toilet had some marks in it that flushed away making us think it wasn’t fully clean. Will not stay at this location again.

The kid pool was perfect for my toddlers, however there were no towels in the entire building apparently, no water bottles to buy, ice machines didn’t work, breakfast lady was mean. Housekeepers were great though and did a good job.
