Sound insulation is bad. Even your next door neighbor normal talking seems like they are in your room. Noisy doors slamming. You can hear foot steps above you. Staff is extremely pleasant, professional.

The staff at this place was awesome. Bill was very nice and helpful. My step dad didn’t know how to tie his tie so he asked someone there for helo and the staff went out of their way to try to help us. We figured it out eventually with a Tik tok video but they were all awesome. The rooms were nice and clean. The breakfast was great. We stayed for one night but it was really nice. Thanks to everyone there. They do a great job.

THis hotel was clean, friendly and helpful. I was able to stay there with my dog. It was very convenient, right off the highway and there was a choice of restaurants near by.

We liked am breakfast with Bill happy to assist us ,greet us & just plain friendly . Front desk gents on check in & out aimed to please . Only complaint is …our room was to be for disability but was barely that way . With disability one key feature should be a taller toilet seat . There was no grab bar in the shower at the far end to help me out of the shower . The grab bar in 123 room was at the opposite end . One does not step out of the tub to the toilet.

This property is right next to the interstate. With the loud noise from the semi trucks, it sounded like dump trucks dumping large rocks all night. I would never stay here again. I am very displeased with microtel.

The breakfast offered was OK. Parking was convenient. However, billing went to my charge card daily including the $10 incidental fee. When I attempted to resolve this with the associate on duty he was unable to do so. He had to call the manager at home. I have had to check me credit card daily to verify the daily incidental fee was removed. In my 50 years of traveling I’ve always received on bill at checkout …. never daily charges.

My credit card was carved multiple times BEFORE I checked out. Also, I had a $10/day included in these charges. A a traveler for 50 years I find this practice totally unacceptable. I will not be staying at a Microtel in the future.

There were literal lightbulbs missing from the very few lights you even get in hotel rooms. The walls were paper thin so I had to listen to everyone and the rooms were far smaller than average. I travel for work weekly and this I thought would have been an average safe place, but god even the sheets smelt like a hospital bed. You know that smell in hospitals or hospice homes? That's what the linens smelt like. It was pretty upsetting to lay in that. The staff was nice enough. It was really just the property that was shockingly off-putting. It's also immediately off the thruway which is a plus, but I would never stay here again nor recommend it to anyone.

Run down dump with bugs and mold
My wife wanted a nicer place than we normally stay so with spending $179.01 on a room I figured it would be decent. Smallest room I have ever been in. Just enough room for a small queen bed a narrow table and chair with no chest or place to put clothes other than a cabinet that held a few hangers. We arrived late in the day, a bit before midnight and turning the lights on in the room I saw and killed 2 bugs on the wall. Hey it happens and it was late so I figured no big deal. But then turned on more lights and the place was a dump. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. Dust covered filters on the heating/ac unit, rust covered safe, bathroom was pretty gross, dirt on the floorboards and mold on the sink and in the shower. Broken door stopper in the bathroom. And a pubic hair visible on one of the pillows when I pulled down the bedspread. The breakfast was sparse. No orange juice or eggs. The coffee machine case kept falling apart. I should have saved $100 and stayed in a inexpensive place. This was a dump. Looks pretty from the outside but run down and needs to be cleaned. Would not recommend or stay again.

On a 4 day stay, I wasn’t expecting daily housekeeping, but when two days went by without fresh towels or wastebaskets being emptied, the lack of service was disappointing. Otherwise the stay was fine.
