Convenient for trip to Mayo Clinic

Posted Aug 19, 2015
It isn't the ritz but it was clean, quiet and priced right. It is what we needed for a spot to stay while traveling back and forth to be with our son for his procedure.

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Pillows were terrific! Roomy rooms.
Great place to stay when attending Gold Rush antique show in Oronoco and Rochester. Good food at the restaurant next door too.

Cozy room, perfect for out stay!

Posted Aug 17, 2015
First impression was clean, up to date, small space. Staff wonderful and friendly. Room same first impression, although they have everything you need in the room and used there space wisely. We really enjoyed this hotel. Have stayed at multiple places in Rochester and by far the best for the price!

Staff was open and friendly, willing to provide useful information. The shuttle service in Rochester is particularly helpful.

We were greeted by a very friendly staff. Although the hotel is a little outdated everything was clean. The sleeping arrangements were very comfortable.

Nice place to rest.

Posted Jul 23, 2015
Pros: Comfortable, clean, and relatively inexpensive. Has an elevator to upper two floors which is crucial in my particular situation.
Cons: Had boiled eggs as part of the free breakfast but was available on the first day of my four day stay. Waffles OK but not 3 days running.
Location: Close to main highway exit. Several dining place within easy driving distance.
Have stayed there several times over the past 10 years. It is usually my first choice when I search for a room for my annual Mayo Clinic visit. Room is comfortable and clean. Have never had anything stolen during any of my visits.

I really enjoyed Microtel the one down fall was the shower curtain was 3 inches too short and flooded the entire bathroom.

Don't recommend

Pros: The gym was nice, the laundry room was nice.
Cons: Better breakfast. bigger rooms. too expensive for what you get.
Location: near freeway and the mayo clinic.
The room was so small you could barely turn around. The breakfast was terrible!
