overnight stay

Pros: suites were spacious
Cons: air freshener placed in rooms
Location: shopping, eating, entertainment
This hotel was not on the main road and sat behind a vacant building but is a very nice facility. We stayed in a very nice suite and the price was very reasonable. We did not have much interaction with the staff but found them pleasant. Lots of other amenities in the area. We would definitely use this facility again.

A great value!

While not the greatest location in town, this hotel has beautiful rooms at a great price. I paid over $50 more a room that wasn't as nice across the street from St. Mary's Hospital the night before. Great staff and a good breakfast in the morning. I'll definitely return when in Rochester again.

Not bad - but not great.

Posted Apr 21, 2016 on Hotels
First of all, the hotel in itself is not bad. The bathroom wasn't very clean. There was a few strands of hair on the tub (that never bothers me that much, I just use an antibacterial wipe and clean it off myself), but parts of the tub were rusted and to take a bath you had to use a rubber stopper. No thanks. And the bathroom was VERY small considering I was in a king suite. The bed was comfortable and the suite was nice. It included a front room and a kitchenette. Wish I would have known that before because I would have brought some food! But that's my fault for not reading the room description better. Breakfast was good - waffles, yogurt, toast, biscuits, juice, all very good. The worst part about this place was the location. It was smack dab in the middle of a neighborhood. Someone was banging their music (AKA lots of bass) until 10:30 p.m. Not to mention when I opened the window at the back of the room - I was staring into multiple people's backyards. Not exactly scenic. It felt a little shady when driving up and seeing a house with a front yard full of junk next to it. Would I stay here again? Probably not. Though the staff was nice and the room was decent, the location just wasn't the best and I didn't appreciate the lack of courtesy from the neighbors in the area.
