Several Cars Broken Into

Elevators didn't work. They weren't equipped for the amount of guest staying there. They didn't check the parking garage for other vehicles that were broken into. They didn't compensate for the cars being broken into in their parking ramp. We requested items from housekeeping and we didn't get those items.

Not worth it

One elevator working. Took 30 minutes to get to room. Once up there our keys didn't work. Came down to complain and told we were going to be thrown out for being upset. No customer service. We were inconvienced yet it was our fault. Terrible experience. Very old hotel not enough staff to deal with check ins or guest issues. Rooms outdated. Clearly need help with their elevator situation

Downtown

Pros: Quiet
Location: Close to everything
Came up to Rochester to shoot a friend's daughter's wedding. The hotel was close to everything I needed.

The staff as great, very friendly. My only complaint is that the room furniture is out of date and very very worn and we weren't provided with any bath towels so I ended up having to dry off with hand towels, I didn't have time to wait for them to bring some as it was so close to check out time.

Mice

Pros: location
Well, the Radisson Hotel Riverfront Rochester was a bit disappointing. Upon check in, there was a sign which indicated the restaurant was closed by the health department. Apparently, there was a mouse infestation which was all over the local news. They did offer to have Dinosaur BBQ deliver, which is fine, but... there was no mention of any compensation. Additionally, the extermination process was well underway over night, with a smell of turpentine throughout the hotel. I woke up with a bad headache and there was no place nearby (within walking distance) to get breakfast. Overall, not a great experience.

We can appreciate your concern and understand the need for clarification. The Radisson Rochester Riverside has an isolated violation that was discovered during a random inspection by the Department of Health. This violation was located in a single area of the hotel and not a trend within all Food and Beverage Areas. Anytime we are not perceived at our highest level of service, we want to ensure that we resolve this perception and ensure that it does not repeat in the future. We appreciate you understanding our need to correct this violation and resume services, only at the levels our guests and community are accustomed to receiving from us!

Terrible elevators and room door

The staff was very friendly but we had a major problem with the elevators. They were very slow and when going up to our floor, the 8th, the elevator never stopped on our floor and took us to the 9th floor every time. Our room door was very flimsy. Every time someone would walk past our room the bar across the door would rattle and it sounded like someone was trying to come in our room.

the bed was one of the worst I've ever slept in. The mattress was concave and I could feel a spring in my lower leg. The edge of the bed was higher than my torso and I'm not a heavy man. Also, a convention was booked there and they booked them on all the lower floors which made it difficult to catch an elevator. My wife and I waited for over 10 minutes for an elevator before calling the concierge for help. Asking them to go to the elevators and push our floor. Otherwise we would've had to walk 9 floors down to lobby with our luggage. Also, not all elevators were functioning which made myself and some other patrons upset due to the convention crowd. I will never stay there again.

All around great hotel.

The staff were amazing. The room was nice and clean. Very accommodating about late check outs. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Rochester.
