Quality of the service was superb.......rooms cleaned excellently, front desk staff helpful, breakfast in place on time and to a high standard. Excellent value!!!

Not what we reserved

Pros: Room was clean!
Cons: Handicap accessibility needs major overhaul!
Location: Location to shopping, restaurants, museums was fantastic.
We reserved the Penthouse which was supposed to be two king beds and two pull outs and be handicapped accessible. We also reserved a wheelchair. My printed reservation has all of this information on it. When we arrived they said the hotel is under construction and the Penthouse was not available but they had another room with two king beds and a pullout available. They also do not have wheelchairs and had to call another hotel to borrow a wheelchair for us. When we go to our room there was one king size bed and a queen size bed and one pull out. We spoke with girl at the desk and she said she would speak to manager as essentially this was false advertising on their part and by the time we checked out it would be taken care of. When we checked out she said the manager said that's what we booked and he would not discount our bill. I told her that is not what we booked at all. She gave us $50 off of our total bill but I feel like we did not get anything we asked for. Not to mention you could not get to the lobby without walking outside and around to the front. The "handicapped" bathroom was anything but. Tub was slippery, lighting was poor, no fan in bathroom, beds are way too high for handicapped people. We made do with the room because we thought we would be compensated, had we known, we would have cancelled and gone someplace else. The staff at the hotel itself was wonderful but we will not stay at this hotel or any others like it because of this experience.
