Disappointed, Scared, and Uncomfortable.

Posted Jul 25, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: The building and it's condition. Needs a lot of work.
Location: Cute, fun Jell-O museum not too far off in LeRoy, NY. Worth seeing :)
Oh my, where shall I even begin? The building is sketchy to begin with. Not simply because of it's age, but because of the fellow hotel-stayers. The blue tub and lou paired well with the mysteriously stained sheets... both appeared as though they hadn't been changed since 1963. As we nervously arrived into the room due to the sketchy exterior, we realized that the nightstand wasn't even connected to the wall like it should've been. Someone had yanked it off the wall and placed it across the room. The bathroom vanity had a light fixture with 4 lightbulbs, 3 of which were NOT working. We honestly did not feel safe staying there whatsoever; not even for the solid 5 minutes we were officially checked in. Yep, you understood correctly. 5 minutes after we entered and examined the room, we decided that this was not the place for us unless we wanted to sleep with one eye open. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT. Unless you love the thrill of staying in a musty, beaten-up hotel room with stains on the sheets WHILE being spooked by your temporary neighbors. However, on the plus side, the lady at the front desk was extremely friendly and understanding of our thoughts. After we told her how we felt, she gave us a hassle-free FULL refund for the 2 nights we planned on staying there.

The worst experience+ bad bags

Posted Jul 21, 2015 on Hotels
First, when w came, there was NO room for 2, that I ordered through Hotels.com. After spending time on phone with Hotels.com representative, the room was found, but Hotels.com gave me suddenly bigger price, then I was told on the phone when I still was at home. Room was very old, no facilities, no internet, nothing. In the morning we found out, that we were not alone. There were bad bags!!!! We called a housekeeper. He removed part of the bed, thrown it an all other stuff on the bed, stud himself on the bed and confirmed,- yes, there are bad bugs. We left for our business(housekeeper remained in the room) and came back at night time, clerk did not know about our room situation. We checked the room,- everything were thrown on the bed, room no one cleaned. We required another room. After 40 min arguing with clerk he called to a manager. We were offered a room with 1 bad. So we slept another night in dirty room with bad bags. In the morning our request to return our money back was refused , clerk was extremely rude,- almost yelled on us:"You paid already! Go! Go!", thrown our receipt. I do not think, somebody will desire to have such experience.

Horrific Hospitality

Posted Jul 13, 2015
When my friends and I arrived back after having gone to a paint dance party, we wanted to shower so we wouldn't get paint anywhere in the room. I booked a room for four people; we had one towel, two washcloths, and a hand towel. I went to the front desk to ask for some more towels and was treated very poorly by the clerk. He said they had no more towels. He ended up giving me two more washcloths with holes and a bed sheet. The next morning, one of my friends hadn't slept much at all because she said she felt bugs crawling on her. The location is sketchy as were the guests around us. This was a horrible experience with a room that cost $80; which I have had $50 rooms before that have been luxurious compared to this room. The only positive that came out of it is that when I expressed my thorough dissatisfaction and requested a refund on the room, the clerk gave it to me without fighting it.

I agree the worst motel I have stayed in.........

From entering the lobby and noticing the sign that room deposits are not returned after ten minutes we wondered what we were getting into. The lack of other vehicles in the parking lot, peeling paint, dirty walls, grimey switch plates and lack of service just add to the nightmare. This motel should be bulldozed as on the three other corners of the intersection are popular, clean choices and at a lower price. Don't expect a continental breakfast as there just isn't one. Will never stay in this chain again and having used Expedia in the past question if I will be using them in the future.

Don't go there!

Red Carpet Inn is the worst hotel I have stayed in the Rochester area. The outside is not well maintained (peeled paint, etc.). The interior of the room is not well maintained. I had to call twice to have the room cleaned.
