Cons: A little Febreeze on the pillows would be nice -- smelled like an old man.
Quick pick after finding I'd need to stay in Rochester overnight

We had taken our luggage up and stayed Tuesday and Wednesday night. My mom had brought a Wal-Mart bag of left over candy from halloween and left them setting on the couch. As we were leaving Thursday morning I noticed a wrapper to a candy bar on one of the couch cushions behind the pillow. The wrapper had been shredded at the back of the couch and was all over that one spot... I told the lady when we checked out about it and said they might check that couch really good, but not sure she believed me. I wish I would have taken pictures, just didn't think about it at the time. The beds were clean and we had no other trouble. Not a great breakfast either.

Sorry to hear about this incident and I will be asking my housekeeping staff about it. As far as I know, we do not have any mice issues but would have been nice to have had a picture. We will definitely look into that. Thank you for your feedback.

No hot water.... anywhere

My daughter rented us the room for a anniversary gift. When booking the hotel we specifically looked for a heated pool and hot tub so we could have a relaxing evening. Check in was fast and easy. That was the only good thing. After checking in we decided to go down to the pool area to use the hot tub. Picture our surprise when it was barely luke warm. This is after turning it on. We left and told the front desk and all they said was yes they new about it and was trying to find the cheapest heater they could to fix it and they had known about it not working. THEY HAD NOTHING POSTED STATING THAT ANYWHERE. So I decided to try the bathtub with that I turned the hot water on full blast and when the tub was full I was able to step into the water and not get burnt. I wasn't even warmed up. I went to call the front desk and tell them about it when as I walked across the floor I ended cutting up my foot from a piece of glass that was on the floor. Does this place not know how to vacuum or even post a sign stating that something was wrong with their property or something that is advertised on the property. No they do not know how to do this and they even had us leave the hotel at 2 in the morning because we were unsatisfied and wanted our money back if we had to have our money back we had to leave the hotel what kind of place is that they should have gave us a free night at another one of their hotels and gave us our money back totally.

Perfect for us

Pros: Everything. There is a restaurant in the hotel which we didn't use as we didn't really have time to eat, but we appreciated that it was there.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Close to Apache Mall, restaurants, downtown, Trader Joes, Walmart, anything you could want.
We stayed one night. The hotel was perfect and had everything we needed, including refrigerators and microwaves in the rooms. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Everything was clean.

Looks Nicer Than It Is

Pros: Distance to Mayo
Staff are pleasant but facility is dirty and breakfast was pathetic. No grab bars in tub, little to non existent lighting in room. Very disappointing but what is usual in this price range.

Our hotel is run down and definitely needs updated, but it is clean, without an owner and funds it is very hard to keep up with what we would like to, but we are doing what we can with the hand we are being dealt. Thank you for your feedback!

Great hotel

I would recommend for the price and cleanliness. It had everything you need without being over to top. Not for luxury but if looking for a nice quiet spot this will fit the bill!

Cons: See above.
Location: Near Mayo Clinic and St Mary's Hospital
You can tell by the looks and structure of this hotel that it used to be owned as a different hotel. Wyndham apparently hasn't owned it very long as it still has a long way to go to be up to par with other Wyndham properties. They are working on it currently. As for clean, a couple of examples are cob webs in the corners up at the ceiling and very unkept common areas. This property does have a great bar/restaurant attached to it.
