A great Hampton!

This is a very nice Hampton Inn. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left all the staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is clean, quiet, and modern. Our room was great - comfy and clean, clean, clean. There is a full breakfast bar and the eating/seating area has both tables and couches, with a kind of cozy coffee store vibe. This is the 2nd time we stayed here. Our 1st time was about a month before and we made a special effort to stay here on our 2nd trip since our experience was so positive.

Clean hotel with Paper thin walls

The staff was welcoming, the property and room were clean, but the walls were paper thin. I loved getting to the property at 12:30 am and being woken up by the occupants of the room next door at 4:00 am. They were not yelling or loud, but just talking .

Rude and loud staff.

The front desk staff was loud, rude and obnoxious with the check-in procedure. I understand asking guests what brings them to town, but the front desk staff asked way too many personal questions in extremely loud tones. Additionally, the front desk staff fumbled and took forever to check on a slight room modification, and when they confirmed they could do it, they came back with a laughable $70 price difference. I didn't ask for a suite and the hotel was a ghost for my stay, so it's not like they were overbooked and were making special accommodations. The breakfast area was clean and the waitstaff was courteous, but the ambient temperature was extremely cold, even when we sat by the fireplace. Our hot breakfast was cold within minutes. This was one of the most odd and unsatisfactory stays I've had at a Hampton Inn. Very disappointed and I doubt I'll stay here again.
