This place was easy to check into, and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. I give it a “ good” rating instead of “excellent” because of how terrible condition the pool was in. The room was clean and the third floor was peaceful. I will try another Holiday Inn Express.

We enjoyed our stay… We have stayed here quite a few times before. We have relatives that we visit in the area so when we come, we always stay here! It’s clean, great breakfast, very comfortable beds, friendly staff. I’m sure we’ll be back☺️

Nothing much worked.
First room lock wouldn’t open after rekeying card 3 times door opened wrong bed type. Was moved to room 2 temp in room 53 after 30 min couldn’t get heat on. Moved back to room1 all ok except handle for toilet flush broken but did get it to work.

We stayed here after a new years party . Essy check in and very comfortable. They also had an indoor poor but unfortunately we did not get to use it . Great feature to hsve tho

The place was pretty good but the sheets had blood stains on them. I'm sure they were still sanitary but you never know. They also had no soap alternatives only Dove brand products which my girlfriend is allergic to so we had to buy alternatives from the gas station. The fire alarm went off at 5 AM, but the cook told me it was an accident from his cooking the bacon. He was nice and admitted to the mistake and I understand accidents happen. We booked online for a King bedroom but were given a double queen which they changed back to a king for us. My only real complaint was the blood-stained sheet not much blood maybe an inch or so of a stain.

Thank you for your review. Of course accidents happen and I am happy to hear that our breakfast attendant owned up and explained what happened. I have addressed the stains on the sheets and we are keeping an eye out for any more of this nature. I know the sheets were cleaned but sometimes we do miss a stain. I apologize that you had to deal with this. If this ever occurs again please let front desk know and we can at the very least change the sheets on the bed for you. We hope to see you again to improve on your stay!

Very clean and quiet, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful hotel and would highly recommend staying here. Easy access, wonderful breakfast options, no complaints, we will stay here again.

I paid extra for a "suite" that was promoted as able to accommodate 6 people. The room had two beds and that's it. Not sure how that's any different from a standard room - and am sure there was no way 6 people could stay there comfortably.

Chris,If you are referring to our Two Queen Suite, the way it would sleep 6 is the pull-out couch in the room. This would essentially give you a room with 3 queen sized mattresses in the room. We hope to see you again soon to improve our impression on you.

Our flight was delayed so we were late checking in - but I called ahead to let them know. When we did arrive some of the staff were not very professional . Thought I was an idiot because I didn’t know the make and model of our rental car. Our room keys had to be programmed daily for the first couple of days we were there. My sister in law came to pick me up but was told by front desk I was not staying there - even looked me up -then sent her away. Breakfast was great the ladies were on top of everything and very kind. The pool towels must be a hot commodity - none at the pool and when asked if I could have a couple I got one. One wasn’t enough to dry one leg - let alone an entire body. Pool area was very clean.

Excellent rest stop, modern hotel, comfortable beds with breakfast. Great car wash just a few minutes away.... got rid of all the insect/bug splashes on our vehicle for only $12.00. I recommend this stop just outside Chicago!

The hotel was great! The beds are super comfy and they provided firm as well as soft pillows, which I greatly appreciated! The rooms were clean and it was very quiet in the hotel overall - heavenly! Their breakfast was surprisingly delicious (no powdered eggs). I would definitely stay here again!
