Overrated, but acceptable

Pros: Staff
Cons: Rooms and clientele
Location: Very good location, close to shopping and restaurants.
This property is overrated. Staff was pleasant however clientele was very low end. Loud rooms, for some reason everyone staying was given rooms right together even though the property is quite large, making the noise worse. Rooms were remodeled but are showing their age, bathrooms are tiny. Overall mediocre even for a red roof. Clean enough if your on a budget however we would never return.

I made reservations online through hotels.com as I get free nights. Made res for 3 rooms 2 nights each. Thought we'd all be in a row or at least close. Could have happened as the 2 rooms next to me were unoccupied both nights we were there. However, girl with purple hair at desk was not in the mood to be accommodating or even put any effort into trying. She was vehement that we could not get rooms together. Seems this hotel may rent rooms by the month which I vigorously try to avoid as there are always police issues and loud parties/noises associated with this kind of hotel. Which there were and made all of us very uncomfortable. You are really trying with the rooms as they are very nice and decorated surprisingly well. The maintenance guy walked into the reception area smoking...thought it was a non-smoking hotel. Outside appeared well-kept. Negatives outweigh positives for me and I probably wouldn't stay here again.

Just say NO!!!

Lady at check in was very, very nice. Be sure your pet is on a flea mediaction, wash your clothes ASAP when you get home & your hair. This way the flea I found on my jeans as we drove away, wouldn't be carried home. I also left my luggage outside my home so the cold would jump off and die in the treated outside of my home. Shower was hot, but came out like little painful pins w it no way to adjust. Bathroom so small, your knees touched the open door, and closing the door just made you feel like you were in a tiny closet. Did have a sink & long area to sit items. Thankfully it wasn't in the closet toilet/shower area. Thin walls, loud guests were easily heard. 2 night stay... $175+? Never again.

I am sorry you did not have a great guest experience during your stay. I assure you that we had that room inspected and no evidence at all of any insects were found.

The front desk person was friendly the room was clean and Starbucks was a walkable distance away. There was also a nice place to eat across the street.

You get what you pay for!

I chose this hotel because the rates were cheap and the reviews were good. Besides I only needed the room for 1 night so how bad could it be? To my surprise the room looked nothing like it did in the pictures and quite frankly I was displeased. The only reason I stayed is because I only needed the room for 1 night. The white towels were hard and dingy. The room had a weird odor upon entering and the room just overall appeared old and outdated. Will not be staying here again.
