If your looking for a quick one night stay, this place works. Stayed for the entire week. Housekeeping never swept or vacuumed my room. For the price, I'd try another hotel in the area of Rockford.

Not the Ritz Carleton

Pros: Friendly staff very accommodating. Couldn't ask for nicer people.
Cons: Room smells old, smoky, musty.
Location: Starbucks close to get coffee in the morning and good breakfast at nearby Cracker Barrel
Staff was great, we were permitted to check in early and printed our boarding passes when we were leaving. In town for a 2 day training seminar so all we did was spend a few hours sleeping which was all this was good for. They have a non smoking policy however the rooms still stink. Two bugs in the bathroom. Staff was great, location convenient to training facility other places in the area like Alpine in that have free breakfast, nicer rooms and comparable in cost

Not like the pictures

The reason this room is because it was mini refrigerator and microwave in the original pictures and no real description of room amenities. So I asked for that type of room and they said its cost $40 dollars per night!! Not good at all. I may have to be there for another 5 weeks. I guess I'm going to find another hotel close by that can accommodate a guest that is spending weeks at a time in their establishment. I may pay a few dollars more, but at least I'll know what I'm getting.

pour le prix

en visite familiale à Rockford pour 3 jours, nous (couple) avons pris cet hotel, pour le prix on ne peut demander plus, pas de petit dejeuner, toute convenients par ailleurs ( AC, cafetiere mais doses de café perimées, TV, minimum syndical pour les chaines, refrigerateur, pas de seche cheveus pas de possibilité de repassage...) par contre sale, vu surtout quand on a mis les serviettes par terre dans la salle de bain ( eau de la douche se repand largement), elles etaient sales +++ sinon placé au debut de la zone commerciale avec tout tres proche (starbuck, restaurant, malls....)

street under construction

Pros: staff were friendly.
Cons: see above
Location: Close to bus station, lots of restaurants.
Hard to get into the parking lot- not hotel's fault, street construction. Air conditioner not working well, bathroom sink slow draining.
