Won't be returningPosted Jun 6, 2017
Our room was not cleaned during our two night stay, which would have been OK if it was clean when we got there. The carpet was very dirty, and we ran out of toilet paper as it was almost empty when we arrived with no spare roll. Walls were very thin, we could hear the people in the room next to us, as we were staying for a function we knew the guests so can't really complain. The pillows were terrible so bring your own if you plan to stay. Also the restaurant in the hotel couldn't accommodate several guests we knew who wanted dinner because they were too full.

I thought this was the doubletree....Posted Mar 6, 2017 on Hotels
Saturday night after we arrived to the hotel from a trade show we arrived on the second floor where we encountered, the whole length of the hallway hockey goals and sticks strewn everywhere, with atleast 20 kids screaming and playing hockey in the hall. There were several pairs of parents in the hall as well sitting on the floor drinking beer and were as loud as the children. This is the Doubletree! It's 9:30 pm! When I arrived to my door with my party my key didn't work. As I went to address my key I was accosted by several of the adults who could see that I was visibly annoyed. I ignored them and went to the front desk to have my key refreshed and warn the staff that there was a hockey game in the hall with tons of noise and drinking. The desk staff remarked that I should call if they disturbed me. I could have sworn that I had just done that. After getting into the room it was confirmed that a closed door wasn't a barrier to the noise. We called to complain again. We were asked if we wanted to move. We had six heavy cases of product and equipment we had moved in and couldn't move it all. So I said no. I would like to have the people on the hall told to take their activities to their own rooms. They said they'd address it and didn't. We complained an hour later. Someone sheepishly could be heard in the hall asking them to be quiet. The noise continued until 1 am. We were Awoken at 6:30 to kids outside of our door playing loudly. I called the desk again. Again, no action.

Out of the way, but very nice hotelPosted Dec 23, 2016 on Orbitz
Pros: Very friendly staff, very nice hotel - obviously newer.
Cons: The beds are EXTREMELY firm. I would say quite hard.
Location: Really out of the way (although near highway).

Not up to the standards of a Double TreePosted Nov 8, 2016 on Orbitz
Pros: The cookies. That was about all that reminding me of a nice Double Tree.
Cons: The first room had a mold smell that they tried to cover with air freshener. I asked to be moved. The second room smelled better. There was a wedding in the hotel. It was very noisy the first night. It was better the next two nights, but the room opened to the lobby and restaurant down below so the noise funneled up.
Location: There is a good sports bar across the street within walking distance.
